About me[edit]
I'm usually referred to as 'Guardian' - the name stemmed from my brief encounter with Guild Wars, originally playing as ranger then later deciding Prince Rurik looked way cooler. Obviously I didn't realise he (Rurik) was going to die later in the storyline; the usual comment "You didn't do a good job" frequently pops up from passers by. Which brings me onto my minature Prince Rurik who stays in my inventory, should a half wit crack such a poor punchline, out pops my perfectly guarded Prince Rurik.
I would like to take this opportunity to say I am not the usual "Wammo" with black obsidian armor and tormented weapons...no honestly. Although I do have Obsidian which was bought piece by piece 'back in the day' when it was prestigious; I pride myself on taking a different approach to the game as a warrior. In many ways this is harder despite being part of the most common class because virtually everything has been tried and tested on warrior - so comming up with something original and effective is a rarity!
The recently archived W/Rt build on PvX wiki used for farming Glint's Challenge was my brainchild - well kinda. It was more the concept of being able to take both sides that the waves of destroyers came from, without moving and successfully killing them all in a quick time (under 4 minutes). Apparently this is impossible, later which I proved wrong by posting a video of me and a build I developed in about a day, successfully fulfilling the mentioned criteria; obtaining nearly 30,000 views in little more than 4 months.
My time now on Guild Wars is mainly focused on YoHo - frequent guild events, processing member applications, general PvEing with guildies etc. I have also recently began to title farm, yes it has gotten to me too! I am currently Very Important (Not that I need a title to tell me that) and my next step is to achieve Triumphant Commander as to have at least one PvP title in my Hall of Monuments.
Pretty much anyone is welcome to join YoHo, what we look for in a member is someone who knows what is expected of them in a guild. We don't need to baby feed members with strict rules and find they generally blend in well. Age is not discriminated although maturity is, currently age range is about 13-50.
