[edit] How I got started
I had always seen the Guild Wars boxes in stores and was drawn to them because of the beautiful artwork, but I never bought one because I assumed that there was a monthly fee. About a year or so later, I met a guy through some friends. I played things like Mario and Zelda, as well as In The Groove, but this guy suggested that I try Guild Wars and had a friends account he could give me. I asked him how much the monthly subscriptions were, and he said there aren’t any. I learned that you only have to buy the game. We have been together ever since, and I have been highly active since then as well.
The account I was given, unused and lonely, grew sooner than I thought it would. I added Factions, Nightfall, Eye of the North, and the Bonus Mission pack as well. I also have 15 character slots, 13 full of PvE ladies with lovely armors, and 2 PvP slots for things that I have yet to setup on my PvE characters.
In 2007, I was a Finalist in the Guild Wars Halloween contest where I received a lil naga.
