[edit] Usage
Use {{User:TEF/Templates/Redlink|<unwritten article title>}} in lieu of linking to a non-existent page: this offers the functionality of seeing a visual reminder to create an article without adding to Special:WantedPages.
- Regular redlinks
Use the standard convention of creating a link (without a destination article):
- For mainspace articles that should be created.
- For article in other spaces that will be created soon (e.g. within the next day).
- Template
- redlink
Use the template instead for:
- Suggesting a potential article name that might not be used, e.g. on a talk page discussing whether how to name split articles.
- Reminders for the user to create follow-up pages within their user space.
- No special formatting
Do not highlight at all:
- When an article is unlikely to be created with that name.
