Character Bio Real Name- Vereor Tenebrae Vereor Tenebrae was born of an Ascalonian Mother and a Luxon Father. He was born while his parents were on a ship ride to Ascalon, but because of a storm, the boat landed in Istan. Because of the friendly nature of the locals, instead of taking a new boat to Ascalon, they decided to live in Chahbek Village. When Vereor was eight, a group of Corsairs attacked Chahbek village. Though the Sunspears drove them off quickly, Vereor's mother was killed in the raid. Vereor was angry, promising revenge no matter what to the Corsairs. However, Kormir was assisting in the recovery, and seeing potential in the youth, took him into training. Throughout his training, he assisted the towns of Istan, quickly becoming a favorite student. At fifteen, he had advanced so much in training; he became the youngest member of the Sunspears ever. Quickly he advanced through the ranks, by helping out even more than before, until his eighteenth birthday, where he was ranked only second to Kormir herself. Hearing news of a Charr invasion in their neighboring continent, he was sent as an ambassador to Kryta, Orr, and Ascalon. When he was in Ascalon however, the Charr called forth the searing, where his legend began. He was drafted into the Ascalonian army, and forced to scout, and relay messages for the most part. However, when his friend, Wario, returned, the two of them fought through the Charr army. When Prince Rurik was banished, seizing the opportunity to leave the doomed land, he departed with the refugees. Across the Shiverpeaks, he slew many troublesome Centaurs, allowing many Ascalonions to survive the trek. When Prince Rurik was Slain, he Scouted ahead, and lead the way to Lion's Arch. Quickly gaining the favor of the White Mantel, Vereor proceeded to escort Chosen Ones across much of Kryta. However, the Shining Blade kidnapped many of them, and fled into the Mugumna Jungle. There he followed them, and eventually caught them. Vereor Tenebrae was horrified, when he discovered the truth of the White Mantel's dealing with the chosen. Eventually escaping them, using the jungle to his advantage, he managed to recover the scepter of Orr, and delivered it to the Vizier. After an ambush, he escaped to the Crystal Desert, and completed a long and boring ascension process, tormented by the Ghostly Hero's annoying voice. After learning of the fate of Evennia, he defeating Glint in a training duel. He then was whisked away to the Shiverpeaks, where he was almost killed by the Mursaat. Vereor, however, managed to release Evennia and Sadria. Sadria foolishly threw away her life, to distract a couple Mursaat, who were promptly slain. Escaping on an ice boat, he managed to find the elusive Seer. Infusing his armor against the dreaded Spectral Agony, he proceeded to reclaim Thunderhead Keep. Once more teleported, he found himself in the Ring of Fire. After Brechnar Ironhammer also committed suicide by the Mursaat, Vereor promptly slew them too, deciding that the Mursaat had a secret power influencing people to randomly commit suicide. Massacring all Mursaat in his way, he proceeding to destroy their defenses, and opened the Door of Komalie. Vizier Khilbron, then revealed himself as the Undead Lich, and teleported him the base of the Volcano, conveniently near his portals leading to various places in Kyrta. After closing them, the Lich sent an Undead Rurik to stop them, who failed at that, like everything else. With copious amounts of laughter, he fulfilled Rurik's last request, and killed him. Running along, the Lich was slain, and all seemed well. He sailed back to Droknar's Forge, where Glint Spoiled his cheery mood, telling him of Shiro Tagachi. He then sailed to Shing Jea, when the Affliction broke out. After clearing much of the threat on the island, he sailed to the mainland, where the plague was much worse. After fighting Shiro, but getting killed, he was resurrected by the envoys. Leaving the filth of the Kaineng City area, he claimed the Spear of Archemorous, while falling in love with the Jade Sea. He then took the Urn of Saint Viktor, barely managing to not succumb to the annoying voice of Danika. After the weapons proved useless against Shiro, as a last resort of Master Togo, they set out to unite the Luxons and the Kurzicks. After fending off both Kurvick and Afflicted, protecting baby turtles, the two sides were united. Vereor freed Kuunavang, fought the Shiro'ken army, saved the emperor, and slew Shiro. Finally able to return home, he finally was back with the Sunspears. Training Recruits for three years, when he found incriminating evidence, leading to an all out war against Veresh. In the aftermath of the defeat, due to Kormir's utterly horrible tactics, Vereor help rescue many Sunspears, leading them back to Istan. He then returned to Kourna, to deal with a blackmailer. This led his to discover the enslaved Centaurs, who were hardly greatful for his help. After that, he met the elusive Master of Whispers, and proceeded to rescue Kormir from execution, then slay a demon known as the Drought. Vereor then lead the escape to Vabbi, but was temporally halted by the Hunger's unsuccessful ambush. He found himself at a great party in Vabbi, but got drunk; taught a kid to dance; slew an oddly behaving lady; did a battle of Jahai reenactment; and fooled around with a mime; before finding out that the princes were oblivious about Veresh. However, after thwarting an assassination attempt on Bokka, he won the trust of the Princes, just in time to defend a fortress against a demon invasion, and seek out the Princes in the Hidden City. While distracted however, Warmarshel Varesh was able to open up a rift in the Grand Court of Sebelkeh. Managing to close the rifts, and slay the demon known as the Blasphemy, he carried onwards, using the Junundu, he managed to overtake Varesh. Killing her twice, he was afterward dragged into the Realm of Torment itself. Fighting both Shiro and the Lich once more, he finally reached Abaddon. In an epic showdown, Abaddon was slain. He had near death encounter, caused by the released corrupted energies, where he meet the mystic being known as Crutch for the first time. After he recovered, he proposed to his long time love, Jadis. When Vereor returned home, he became the new leader of the Sunspears. On his wedding day, a sudden earthquake shook Kamadan. Vereor wen out to investigate, and discovered Dwarves, and an odd creature the likes of which he had never seen before, all underneath the city. After barely escaping the Destroyers, he proceeded to make allies with the Ebon Vanguard, the Norn, and the Asura. He then helped the Dwarves undergo a ritual, turning them to stone. Penetrating deep into the Destroyer army, he faught and slew the Great Destroyer. He lived on for five more years, but once more, met Crutch. However, instead of dieing a normal death, Crutch took his spirit to the Infinity Nexus, where all places connect to. From there, he continues to visit new worlds. | In the name of the Sunspears, I shall stop you! | ||
