On Shadowphoenix's talk, you were wondering if you were eligible to vote in the elections. Well, all you need is to have 100 or more contributions, besides the user, user talk, guild, and guild talk namespaces. Mate if you ever do wanna run for sysop/beauracrat role, i suggest you get active and maintain activity within the policy and GWW talk pages as a good track record of those and a strong grasp of policy goes a long way into getting peeps voted in. I got jaw surgery to fix my massive lower jaw overbite. there were some complications in it (namely muscle spasms that kept ripping off the rubber bands), but they were able to get through with it. right now its pure hell, because I can barely talk and can only have liquids for 10 weeks. but hopefully it'll fix what was wrong >.< -- Wandering Traveler 02:42, 7 April 2008 (UTC)

Yup. and believe me, it sounds that bad. The image I have in my first message uses this code [[:Image:User Shadowsin Sockpuppet.jpg]]. I would really like one for my guilds simble which I would supply a link to if I knew how to send a link for a screenshot. mmk, your best bet is to take a look at the image policy. that will tell you how to upload them. As for the screenshots, you want to just upload one, because there is a way to change the size within the wiki. You are not one. Please don't act like it. Friendly, one-time reminders to other users are fine; if you see policy violation, leave a short note saying "hey, are you aware of this policy?" and leave it at that. This, for example, is passable. The last line is unnecessary, and probably just encourages further trolling, but the idea in general is good. Then you post this, which is anything but good. It's not your job to request he remove things from his userspace, nor to tell him to do it quickly. Also, since you lack the ability to block, telling him of impending danger (a possible block that may or may not come, based on how other sysops see it) is a bad idea as well; basically, it's an empty threat. At best, a bluff. Either way, try to avoid comments like that in the future.
Again (I can't stress this enough), friendly reminders are awesome. They let people know you're there and you care. They also quite often educate unknowing users of policies. However, for experienced trolls and disruptive (yet educated) users, "friendly" reminders usually just give them the attention they're craving, and thus such comments are best left unsaid. -Auron 08:31, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
