Sanare Tencteri[edit]

Older sister of Sangui. Both hail from Ascalon, where they survived the searing, unlike their parents. Trying to protect Sangui during the chaotic days of the charr attacks, Sanara has become especially adept in protection magic.

I thoroughly enjoy monking, even and especially in pick up groups. Some of my best guild wars experiences have been monking in groups that barely made it through the mission. I have rarely, if ever, encountered any negative feedback from my team mates ... well except for that one time when I wanted to test Unyielding Aura.

Xeeron Tencteri[edit]

My pre-guild wars character. Fell (literally) from heaven one day in Ascalon. Bereft of all his magical powers, Xeeron had to take to beating up people the hard way. Entering the portal in Folenn must have had some effect on the mind as well, Xeeron is best described as brave, but not too clever. "Adopted" in a way by Sanare, who prevented him from meeting an early dead many, many times.

Currently my main PvE character and "titles collector" with regard to GW2. Not sure about Ursan being the "favorite", but it is definitely the one I abuse to have an easy time in hard mode.

Sangui Tencteri[edit]

Younger brother of Sanare. His heart darkened during the searing and has not reopened yet. A lone ranger/necromancer that mixes badly with most people.

Barrage all the way. Was originally introduced to unlock the two missing professions for my account. Fun to play for a few days every now and then, till I get bored of pressing the same button all the time again.

Together with Sanare, one of the two PvE characters I use for PvP. Only AB & Arenas, because I am to lazy to carry tons of shields around, so I still use PvP chars for high level PvP.

Dori Tencteri[edit]

Raised in Shing Jea Monastery. Not your typical Ritualist, but very outgoing and open (and always the best dressed of the five). Walked up to Sanare, Sangui and Xeeron one day when the three helped out Mhenlo in Kaineng City and decided to join their group. Sanara is much too good-hearted to refuse and Xeeron would never mind, but strangely Sangui did not object as well.

Ritualists are almost as much fun as Monks. Especially when Recuperation was still 15 energy, hehe. I like the ability to add in some damage enhancements without having to spec into a fourth attribute line. Dori is the only character I ever tried cartographing on, but I got utterly bored with it after being stuck at 99.5%.

Anglis Tencteri[edit]

Rich kid from Kamadan, with some criminal connections his father would disagree off. Made "first contact" with the others when being knocked down by Xeeron and Sangui after he tried to steal the groups travel purse ... but turned out to be a rather resourceful addition later.

Yes, my paragon. I fell in love with the concept during the preview and fell out of love with it once I saw all the balance issues this poor class creates. The paragon was the first real dual-character, which could split his skill bar half-half between damage dealing and healing without losing effectiveness. Unfortunately, the nerfs left the paragons with only a very small niche of good builds.

Mara Tencteri[edit]

Little sister of Anglis. Funny, always up for a joke and certainly somewhat spoilt by her parents. Didn't want her brother to reap all the fun of adventuring alone. Most valuable ability: Manages to impress party members with her survival skills, while being on a good standing with her parents (and their purse), unlike Anglis.

Started a dervish out of a whim when it was clear that there would be no new classes in GW:EN and after I was more or less done with everything else I wanted my other characters to do. Died somewhere along the way to survivor (2), because I would rather die for my horrible pug than log off. I am also not a survivor person, my characters all love to charge the enemy. Despite that, dervs make normal mode PvE even less difficult than not difficult at all.
