About me

I started playing Guild Wars in... April 07 i think. It was the Guild Wars Factions preview weekend which gave me my very first hour of GW. When Factions had release, i bought it and ever since no PC game has amazed me more.
There are only two games which got close to it: Age of Empires II and Warcraft III. Currently I enjoy racing against and with my guild mates in Trackmania Nations. I also own the original Trackmania, which is imo better than all of its sequels. Nations has one big advantage, though: it's free to download and play, so if you wanna have some fun, download it at http://www.trackmanianations.com/ and message me ingame; my account name is Menzies.

To do list

  • Design my user page.
  • Clean up the german wiki's build section.

Additional notes

  • You may use anything you find in my user space for your own, but give credit, please (with exception of my templates: no need to credit there).
  • Use Mozilla to view this page. Seriously, it's ugly in other browsers.
  • Watch and if you laughed, you now know what empathy is.

Rants <Archive>        To all Internet Explorer users: this is where you should go and download Firefox. I have no idea why IE tends to break stuff like this section.

Trackmania Nations Forever has been released! Unfortunately, the graphics are all to bright. They remind me very much of WoW graphics, which are why I stopped playing WoW. Nations Forever seems overall very much like a beta imo, and it also strains processor and graphic board too much. On the contrary, Nations Forever features about as many possibilities as the original Trackmania (Which is kinda ridiculous, why do they release a free game which features the same as one you have to pay for?) So in the end, I will design maps for Nations Forever, but if I wanna race actually, I'm still hanging to Nations. - 16:38, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

Tuesday, I felt this typical scratchiness in my throat, but I thought it was gonna go away like any other cold. (What the hell? A cold in the first days of around 20°C?) When i woke up wednesday at 6:42, the usual time for me to get up for school, I felt exhausted. The only thing i did before I went to sleep again was telling my parents I wasn't going to school today. Around 12 o'clock I knew that was the right decision. I think I'll save you the details; I'm sure you know what gastro-intestinal disease means. The rest of the day went by accompanied by the 21-CD audio book "Odyssea" (of which CD 4 and 12 don't work >.<), i reached CD number 9 in the evening. I had no idea what to eat, everything seemed to make me even sicker than I already was. In the end, zwieback had to do the job. I'm still not quite well, but my immune system seems to be running high gears, since today already, I feel way better than yesterday (which is proven by the fact that I'm here right now). I hope I'll be back at full health tomorrow, til then, I'd better stay away from this PC to give myself a rest. Gosh, why does this always happen to me on holidays? - 14:16, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
