Executioner's strike vs Body blow[edit]

I see your point, but I feel like your note is too situationnal. You will only face the choice when you need bar compression on a PvP axe warrior with similar strength and axe mastery attribute ranks. By similar strength and axe mastery, this means 12-12 attribute point repartition. If there is a 6~9 rank in another attribute, for example to get access to Shock/Conjure/Brutal Weapon/Dark Prison/Tactics skills/etc., this always results in a decrease in strength because axe mastery is more interesting for damage, and therefore a decrease in bb's damage against es'. If you don't have bar compression issues, you can run both skills.

The difference between skills isn't much too : Body blow's additional effect may be DW, but the condition is hard to meet and axe warriors always run eviscerate/decapitate/dismember which already inflict DW anyway, making it less interesting. In the end, body blow wins because it costs less adrenaline, namely 7 instead of 8, which isn't that much. --Ruine User Ruine Eternelle Ruine Eternelle.jpg Eternelle 16:09, 24 November 2015 (UTC)

I disagree that the note is too situational to not be mentioned for many reasons; in particular simply because even if BB isnt significantly better than ES in said situations, it is still better and should therefore be mentioned (just as it is mentioned in Remedy Signet or Lyssa's Balance). Whether or not it is too situational is in the end a matter of opinion though, so I alone can't be the judge of that. --185.57.6.12 17:16, 24 November 2015 (UTC)
