[edit] your skill tweaks
Nice proposals actually. Your changed form skills don't replace your actual skill bar, right? —Zerpha
The Improver 13:29, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
- No. They behave like dervish forms or to a lesser extent, shouts. Unstrippable bonuses that do not change your skillbar. Boogy 13:43, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
- ok, sounds nice. I also think a skill that replaces the entire skillbar for OP pve-only skills is a bad idea. But your current version of Volven Blessing is OP imo. +1 energy and +4 health degen, and permanent halved spell recharge? That's like Mending without upkeep cost, Peace and Harmony without end effect, and old Mantra of Recovery without using a stance. And all unstrippable... —Zerpha
The Improver 15:21, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, I agree it sounds overpowered. But unlike
Mending and
Peace and Harmony you can only use this on yourself. I agree on the 50% recharge though. Changed it to 0...33% and regen to +1...3. Still powerful, but after all, it would be an elite pve-only skill. Doesn't turn the game into pre-searing, but still very powerful. Boogy 15:39, 1 July 2008 (UTC)
- yeah, suppose that's nice now :P —Zerpha

- Consider testing Healer's Convenant with spells like Healing Breeze, Infuse Health, Healing Seed, Vigorous Spirit, Spotless Soul/Mind, Healing Touch. You ll see that its not so bad as most people think of it. Most of these skills i listed are not affected by the healing reduction, on the 5e of them like Vigorous Spirit you get a very cheap 2 energy - 42 heal (with 13DF), Healing Touch is mostly healing with DF and the total reduction you get is small, and Infuse Health heals quite a lot anyway so its not a big problem. Sure it hasn't the potential and power of Healer's Boon, Unyielding Aura but you need a totally different skillbar to compare between them. Also about your notes on Healer's Boon. Its not nice as it is cause HB is pretty much the king of monk healing, but as a monk i see all the end game being pretty much balanced around the fact that monks can heal so fast and so much damage. Cause simply the incoming damage is a lot and comes in fast. If Anet gone to nurf some key monk spells, the whole game would pretty much been affected. And at that point it wouldn't matter if any other profession was unbalanced cause simply if you can't keep people alive in your group it doesn't matter how much damage they do or any other overpowered ability they may have. Healer's Boon increases healing amount by 50% at no drawback. This means you spam less, so you should save about 2-3 energy per cast on 5 energy direct healing spells and 5 energy on 10 energy direct healing spells, so overall it saves you more energy than
Healer's Covenant. Healer's Covenant is not as bad as most people think, but it is weaker than the other elites. Why would anyone use an elite like HC when they have better alternatives? Also, the change to HB is simply reverting to before the last buff, which was actually done to make monks use other elites than
Light of Deliverance as far as I remember, because HB was used before getting buffed. --Boogy

[edit] Cape Emblems
If you are looking for cape emblems, I have extracted them all from the DAT User:Wynthyst/Special pages/Cape emblems. There are a few I don't know how to name so they aren't uploaded yet, but I have them all.--
Wyn 20:26, 20 July 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks. But I've made that page to host a guild competition to choose a new cape, those links are entries. I had to make a page cause the status didn't allow so many links due to exceeding the maximum character count. Boogy

In case you were searching for seperate allegiance rank icons, they are also uploaded here and here —Zerpha
The Improver 12:44, 28 July 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, I was. I tried "Save Yourselves!"(Luxon).jpg but didn't think about leaving space between the parenthesis and the save yourselves. Thanks :). Now how do I remove my uploaded image? Boogy
(Talk/Contributions) 12:48, 28 July 2008 (UTC)
- If you mean you want to mark this image for deletion (you can click this link instead so it doesn't automatically redirect to the skill page) then just add
{{delete|U1: User requested deletion|speedy}}to the image right at the top above the redirect. --Kakarot

[edit] People here on this wiki
are so bad, officially. Are we the *only* ones here that actually know anything about PvP, or even GW in general? also, proving to cedave I'm better than most of pvxwiki is win. =D Napalm Flame 13:57, 25 September 2008 (UTC)
Also, a few of your concept skills could become so broken in spike teams and pressureway. I'd love to see it ingame just to smash the current pathetic metas to pieces. Napalm Flame 14:02, 25 September 2008 (UTC)
- When making a skill it's so easy to make it overpowered. I know some of those skills may seem powerful, but they won't be introduced anyway. --Boogy
