[edit] User page remnants

Should we just leave Blood's old userpage and talk page be then? Since he changed his name and all :\ — Seru Talk 21:27, 30 September 2008 (UTC)

Yeah; his old sig still point to those pages, so a redirect pointing to his new pages would be helpful. -- Brains12 \ talk 21:28, 30 September 2008 (UTC)
Gotcha — Seru Talk 21:32, 30 September 2008 (UTC)
Thanks, I forgot about that =\. -- WoB 01:39, 1 October 2008 (UTC)

[edit] I'm blocked

Why? You said NPA on the block summary, and yet I recall none. Pls remind.

On a related note, when does it expire? 85.108.218.75 11:26, 3 October 2008 (UTC)

See Armond's talk page; even after Auron's notice to you, you come up with comments like "-he's a qualified ****". Also, do not evade your ban; if you want enquire about it, there are several ways to contact me -- IRC, in-game, or through email (details of which are on my userpage). Further evasions will just lead to a longer block on your main account.
Your block was for a week, and I believe a message comes up with the expiry if you try and edit. The IPblocklist shows all expiries of existing blocks, so you can search for your username and see when your block ends. -- Brains12 \ talk 15:48, 3 October 2008 (UTC)

[edit] NPA violation

Hi Brains,

If you go to the Horrorween page in Special events section, you will see (on the talk page) the comment about the wicker man. Please could you remove this comment? I think it was an attempt to start a wiki flamebaiting war. Its just gonna cause trouble, so could you delete it please. Thanks, --Burning Freebies 16:36, 3 October 2008 (UTC)

I've commented on that talk page. By the way, in future you can request admin attention on the admin noticeboard (there's a link on the left navbar). -- Brains12 \ talk 16:52, 3 October 2008 (UTC)
Indeed, the noticeboard is probably the quickest way since you don't have to wait until one particular sysop is awake and active. It also lets sysops keep tabs on problems that might develop further. Go to Aiiane's Talk page (Aiiane - talk - contribs) 17:13, 3 October 2008 (UTC)

It was not my intention to cause any problems, if a part of your comment was directed at me, i try to be as civil as i can(Bickering is bad). There have been problems in the past with some of the contributors to the Wicker man section, so if i tried to stop the focus of the discussion going away from the original topic to harshly i do apologize. [edit] my balance is almost rdy but

I dont know where to post it.I would like to keep it on this wiki because of the skill icons. Can you give me some help with where I am allowed to post it ? Lilondra *poke* 09:38, 5 October 2008 (UTC)

Your userpage, I guess. I assume you want to post it on Izzy's talk page, but I'd say "no" to that. -- Brains12 \ talk 12:24, 5 October 2008 (UTC)
Yh the balance and not on izzy's talkpage i know but you said something about skill feed back link or sumthin ? Lilondra *poke* 13:09, 5 October 2008 (UTC)
I said that you could post each issue on their respective skill feedback page; as for a universal "post links to balance pages here" page, I don't think one exists. -- Brains12 \ talk 13:12, 5 October 2008 (UTC)
would you allow one to be created ? Lilondra *poke* 13:15, 5 October 2008 (UTC)
Not my choice, and I don't really have an opinion on it either way. -- Brains12 \ talk 13:20, 5 October 2008 (UTC)

I always knew Wyn had a third account. So tell me, are you the one the holds the greens, or the one that holds the collectables? --Shadowphoenix Happy Halloween 02:16, 6 October 2008 (UTC)

He's the one holding the wood planks. — Galil Talk page 10:27, 6 October 2008 (UTC)
actually, he's the one with those grey cells. - Y0_ich_halt 12:17, 6 October 2008 (UTC)
You mean the one with the empty inventarinventory? poke | talk 16:33, 6 October 2008 (UTC)
Inventor? Inventory? - anja talk 16:56, 6 October 2008 (UTC)
Wyn + Charachter with empty inventory = Impossible! --Shadowphoenix Happy Halloween 17:04, 6 October 2008 (UTC)
meh, thanks Anja <_< poke | talk 17:09, 6 October 2008 (UTC)
(does gray/grey cells even have the same meaning in english as in german?) - Y0_ich_halt 14:41, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
You mean the inventory boxes, right? Grey cells does make sense, but I'd probably call them.. well, inventory boxes :P, or slots. In fact, it took me while to realise what you meant; I first thought you were making a Poirot reference :/ -- Brains12 \ talk 14:43, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
...Am I the only one who saw "grey cells" as in "grey brain cells" as well as a pun on empty inventory slots? -- Armond WarbladeImage:User Armond sig image.png 14:51, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
in that case you would be the only one who got what i meant :D - Y0_ich_halt 15:03, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
No. :P - anja talk 15:37, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
Whew. -- Armond WarbladeImage:User Armond sig image.png 15:43, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
Grey brain cells = Poirot reference. -- Brains12 \ talk 15:50, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
Whozzat? -- Armond WarbladeImage:User Armond sig image.png 15:50, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
I got it Y0 =D — Wolf 15:52, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
I didn't. :P — Galil Talk page 22:36, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
Shall I explain? — Wolf 22:41, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
No, I get it now, just not when he posted it the first time. :P — Galil Talk page 22:51, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
Ah! kk. — Wolf 22:54, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
I still don't get it O.o *scratches head* --Shadowphoenix Happy Halloween 01:23, 8 October 2008 (UTC)

(Reset indent) Explainin time them. Gray Cells was refering to the gray spaces on ones inventory that are not occupied by an item. Also, Gray Cells, or Gray Matter is also a term used to refere to brina cells. So, Y0 is the one with all the brains and all the empty storage space. Atleast I think thats what he was getting at. — Wolf 02:13, 8 October 2008 (UTC)

not really... i'll recall the context and sentence:
I always knew Wyn had a third account. So tell me, are you [Brains] the one the holds the greens, or the one that holds the collectables? --Shadowphoenix
He's the one holding the wood planks. — Galil
actually, he's the one with those grey cells. - Yo
i.e. i said "brains is neither the one who holds greens, nor collectables, nor the wood planks. he's the one holding the grey cells" (-> pun to his user name and his intelligence). - Y0_ich_halt 16:29, 8 October 2008 (UTC)
Y'know, if a joke requires this much explaining, it's not much of a joke :/ -- Brains12 \ talk 16:46, 8 October 2008 (UTC)
i'd hoped the pun was justified :P - Y0_ich_halt 16:51, 8 October 2008 (UTC)
You hoped wrong :) -- Brains12 \ talk 17:08, 8 October 2008 (UTC)
I thought it was funny. -- Armond WarbladeImage:User Armond sig image.png{{Bacon}} 20:51, 8 October 2008 (UTC)
I lol'd. — Wolf 21:53, 8 October 2008 (UTC)
i think this part of the convo deserves a 'lol' most. - Y0_ich_halt 14:37, 9 October 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Proposal

You're a sysop and that's the closest as I've got how to bring up this issue. It appears that adding "Bring Pain Inverter" to various mission pages seems to be a knee-jerk reaction with people, to add to "Skill Recommendations".. Does it really need to be mentioned everywhere? I figure after it's introduced a couple times it goes without saying, or is overall unnecessary anyway.- VanguardImage:User-VanguardAvatar.PNG 17:40, 10 October 2008 (UTC)

I have no opinion (or authority) about this, so I'll just point you to where you can get more responses: GWWT:MISSIONS is probably your best bet. You could add a request for comments to get more input if necessary. -- Brains12 \ talk 17:51, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
That works. I knew that if you couldn't answer that you'd know where I could go :D - VanguardImage:User-VanguardAvatar.PNG 20:30, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
