We'll probably get information the last friday in june about events to come out sometime august. Last friday in august we'll get little stuff like in WiK pop up once every third week (but this time more in our face and easily accessible) to be completed early december. Get real excited for new repeatitive quests and stuff we already have.
Just an observation on arenanet's previous works. -Cursed Angel 熱 14:15, 25 May 2011 (UTC)
IMO, you should toss out everything prior to the change of lead in the Live Team considering that Stumme has done things a lot differently than Linsday. -- Konig/talk 14:43, 25 May 2011 (UTC)
IMO release the factions build just before nightfall stuff was added. --Boro 10px‎ 15:10, 25 May 2011 (UTC)
-.-* Buzzzzzzzkillers. I am allowed to be excited for whatever I feel like being excited about, and that's upcoming content whatever it may be. I love this game, and whether you enjoy the content or not I know I will. You can say/predict it'll suck all you want, but I prefer to believe in innocence until proven guilty. --Alcyone
Then I wish you happiness and good fortune living in your pretty world of fabricated illusions. Otherwise:Welcome to reality! ANET's track record is on a continuous downhill. Factions tourney was the peak, everything they done from then was... to put it mildly fuck both fluff and crunch up from the inside out. Mesmers were made pure damage and 'you can't play gw for x seconds', did more aoe than elementalists, Necros rocked everything, RoJ monks dominated everything, Competitive missions were crap, Leechers galore, Red Resign!, Shadow form sickness (doesn't take much brain to tell that the people responsible are on their way fucking gw2 up) and more but it would take an even more sized wall of text to list all of that!
But to stay on topic and be about the recent stuff the live team has been putting out: In the War in Kryta line, you were railroaded worse than a train, Asurans doing worse stuff on seers than Mengele, putting Izzy in charge of... well, putting Izzy in charge of ANYTHING (at least good irony on Isaiah's Balance). On the balance side every single thing made pve into an even bigger clusterfuck than it was. It's now imba skills vs imba skills and AI, which is NOT balanced. Flux funnels players to a smaller build pool, it's generally bad. With storytelling worse than the DM of the Rings (read that comic, very very informative of railroading experience) and balance resembling face-rolling on the keyboard even more than skilled play while speedclearing NEVER got addressed and gameplay degraded into "trololol heroes trololol yellow numbers trololol next group rinse repeat grind grind grind" I don't think the current direction the Live Team has will ever affect the game positively. --Boro 10px‎ 15:55, 25 May 2011 (UTC)
Goddamn rage. --Boro 10px‎ 15:56, 25 May 2011 (UTC)
Good for you, now either live with it or don't play the game if you hate it that much. Damysticreaper 16:01, 25 May 2011 (UTC)
Current flux is, luckily, inconsequential. That said, I'm inclined to agree that the concept is moronic. How does something that limits build diversity going to counter rigidity in the metagame. Epic logicfail on the part of whatever Anet employee came up with that little gem. Kay - 16:36, 25 May 2011 (UTC)
Something crawled up everyone's butt this morning, I can't believe that people enjoying the game is enough to cause such rage. Okay, so your opinion isn't shared by everyone you come across. That's why they're called opinions. I like the game, I have every right to like the game, and that being said if you don't that's fine too but it's no reason to turn super rage. --Alcyone 17:27, 25 May 2011 (UTC)
Bitch please get real. Excitement over what? With skyhigh hopes you'll be turned down big when we get our canthan ale and master togo tonics, drawn out over 3 or so months. -Cursed Angel 熱 17:47, 25 May 2011 (UTC)
Yes, because as I've clearly stated I have such a history of being disappointed in this game. Maybe I'm just easier to please than you, but that's my prerogative. I've enjoyed the new things they add thus far and have no reason to expect that since that's been my experience that this one will be any different. Clearly you haven't so stating that you'll be disappointed in it is reasonable, but telling someone who hasn't been they will be is an awfully large assumption on your part. That being said, continuing in this discussion seems pointless since you're apparently attempting to convince me to dislike a game that I clearly do like, so have a wonderful remainder of the day and I wish you the best of luck. --Alcyone 18:34, 25 May 2011 (UTC)

(Reset indent) So, Boro, you would prefer that all skills be hopelessly average then? That's not fun to play, people want to be able to create a build without every skill in the game being crippled beyond usability. People will naturally gravitate to the skills that have the fewest downsides because deliberately self-inflicting such penalties is merely a sign of masochism. Better to give people a variety of ways to thoroughly decimate their enemies and let them choose how they want to do it. User Nathe iconR.png Nathe 18:38, 25 May 2011 (UTC)

I'd offer a hearty STWS but i can't tell at this point if it's Cursed who deserves most of the credit, ...or Anet --ilrUser ilr deprav.png 20:32, 25 May 2011 (UTC)
