- Observation: Adbots. It's the same site that's been spamming goldselling in all the major towns lately, but they seem to be smarter. Last night, in Shing Jea EU1, the pm bot was in the same district, so I could select and /report. This morning, the bot was in a different place, so even though I was in Kamadan EU1 getting spammed, the bot couldn't be targeted in that same district, and I was incapable of submitting a /report. --

The past couple of days I have come across 3 gold sellers, two of which I have reported, the third accuring shortly before I wrote this email. I noticed one thing, all 3 accounts have been opperating for the same site, www.ugamegold.com. A friend of mine also says all 6 of the gold sellers he has run into have been opperating for this site. I don't know if there is anything you can do about the site, but if it were shut down, it's a sure bet the number of gold sellers present in Guild Wars would drasticaly drecrease. Sorry,this isnt a bot thing,its something that might help against the bots, ive noticed a huge amount of bots everywhere,and i got some evidence here that they are scammers, read this what i found on the website of ugamegold:
Guild Wars Gold is the in-game currency in Guild Wars. Guild Wars Gold can be obtained in a variety of ways and can be used for a variety of purposes such as buying the prestigious weapons, armors and collectable items. Killing foes produces drops of loot which can be sold to merchants or traders, given to a collector in exchange for items, or traded to fellow players if it is a high demand or valuable item. Players can do runs to find high-end chest and collect gold. Other means of collecting gold are crafting rare material, trading and merchanting with other players. Trading can occur between players to players and players to NPC vendors. Usually, players will off better deal when buying or selling goods but sometimes this can create inflation of high demand items. ArenaNet constantly monitor the economy of the game in order to balance it. If a method of income is being overused by players and deemed too "powerful" by ANet, they will eventually take counter-measures to weaken it.

That bottom bit clearly says a lot........i guess thats why it says attention,i thought id post what it said on the homepage to help u guys on Anet solve this bot thing.

- Map Name Great Temple of Balth (All districts, warps to every american district), Random Arenas (All american districts, the bot ocasionally enters into a game and pastes in all chat while playing), Heroes Ascent (International districts), Temple of Ages (American districts), many other popular places.
- Observation Although told not to post names, I feel this can be posted. This is 1 player who has a guild (All I know is that the tag is [LUST]). He/She sells invites for the gold so that you can "1v1 for gold". Thats not braking any rules... however, the fun starts when you message this person. Within .5 seconds you get 4 pm's from the person asking what kind of membership you want (members like 5k, officers 10k) , asking which district too meet at, than to meet at storage. This person is a message bot for the fact that he/she warps to NUMEROUS districts and pastes in chat and wait till the exact second that someone PM'd him/her. I have PROVEN that it is indeed a bot. I will post pictures once my laptop is back from Toshiba. Anyway, I proved this by first... pm'ing him with a non-guild related question. Simply "whats your favorite color?" and I get the spams. The even FUNNIER part is when I've pm'd and said "Are you a bot?" and I still get the 4 pm's. He/she happened to physically respond after though saying "no" so I said "you ARE a bot! People at guru are gonna rofl if i post this." and I get ANOTHER 4 pm's! Because this person needs to be stopped as he/she also SCAMS people (i joined the guild when I first started, payed, next day I logon and I wasn't in the guild. I pm'd the leader and all I get is the 4 damn pm's!
Because this seems appropiate, here's the name: Beth Bloodlust
I have TRIED to report the person in-game, and done it several times or spamming and botting, but he /she is still not banned. It's also EXTREMELY difficult to report him/her because he/she zones before you can report him/her to make sure it cant get reported!

- Observation: Looks like lotsa bots, there's 4 or 5 lookalikes, all from same guild but can't remember tag, they stand in formation like bots, either in usual entry locations into the conservatory or at the marker post for melandru's hope. Also noticed yesterday & day before at this location, one or two loners run into the marker post, just standing there like bots. Please get rid of them, I'm working hard on getting the kurzick faction the hard way i.e. legal way.

- Observation: This seems to be common knowledge, but Lutgardis Conservetory is full of members using bot programs to hero faction farm. There aren’t just a few, there many in every district, every minute of the day doing this day in and day out. It is rather difficult to discern a hard-core grinder with a bot sometimes, and this has me reluctant to /report a bunch of people. I would like to suggest making the Melandru’s Hope sign not able to be targeted. This would force a bot to target one of the henchmen (or the other sign), making them easier to report or ban since it would make no sense for a normal grinder to run that way to make it out the door to Melandru’s Hope.
