Care to Predict?[edit]

A friend asked me the other day what minis I wanted to see for the Fourth Anniversary Gift. I'm going to work up my list this weekend and I'll add mine in. But in the meantime, here's the traditional page, but with a big number 4 for -- yaaaay! -- four years of Guild Wars Goodness! A lot of the ones I wanted last year came to be -- it was a great year for me an minis. Oh, heck, every year is a great year for me and minis -- I love 'em all! Anyway, my carryovers on a personal wish / prediction / hope-and-pray list are:

* River Drake -- A serious love of mine, my hoped-for plushie since 2004, why not a mini?

* Ruby Djinn -- Frankly, I want all the Djinns.

* Rift Warden -- Yes, it's a tonic, but please, please, give me the mini!

* Rudi -- Now that we have a reindeer pet, maybe we'll not have a mini, but I wouldn't argue with both!

* Skeleton -- I just like skeletons. Any kind of skeletons, any brand, make, or model.

And my suggestion for this year's Green:

* Dwayna -- I just love her avatar -- she'd make a lovely mini.

Just a quick addition, I agree that a wurm or worm would be a really cool mini, my personal choice would an Infernal Wurm, but any of them would be cool. It's a waste making a model to use it so little, that's why Niang, Stick doodle, Chibi Gwen and all models that appear only in one single place or only once are good candidates for miniatures. Mith

It's painfully obvious that Gwen-Chan will be a mini. They wouldn't have modelled and skinned it for just one use. They were expecting us to go gaa-gaa over it. I can't stand it, tho. And speaking as someone who owns every bday mini, I will be sad if I have to pay good money for her to complete my collection. I feel great sorrow for Miju, because of her common belief of being sickened and transformed. I also had to have the Sapphire Djinn in my list because it's my favourite enemy across all campaigns. Well, are usually better reused. For example, the pig was, in fact, a warthog made 'starshiny'. And I bet that for the dog they will use a modified version of the wolf, and for the horse a Kirin one. Although GW must last until 2017 first, XDMith
