[edit] A Place for Fond Memories I wanted to have a little page on which I could tuck some memories of the kind goodbye messages, the unforgettable Farewell Party, birthday greetings, and so forth. Thanks to all who post notes, send me an in-game message, or who chatted with me during the party or during events, then and now. I'm active on my user page and I'll keep in touch on my Journal, from time to time, too. You can count on help with many kinds of issues and concerns of a support nature on the Support Issues page. I hope to continue to hear from you often, for I'm still in the game a lot, and on the wiki daily. :)

Thanks Gaile for all the work you did as a community manager! I was pretty shocked when I read this latest news, but I just wanted to say, I'll miss your appearances a lot! I was fortunate enough to meet you once in Paris and you've always amazed me with your answers and patience here on wiki. I hope the new job at A'net will supply you with a lot of the excitement you want. You've truly been a person I looked up to (and of course I will still do so ^^). Hello, I don't really have anything terribly important to say. I just wanted to say hi and thank you for your efforts given to this game. If this message is taking up space you can just remove it after you read.

I don't think anyone in GW doesn't know your name or who you are! Despite this i was never sure what kind of person you were. I have had my fair share of complaints about Anet and their decisions, and I will admit, about the amount of attention you get, but I realize now that you're a pretty cool person (I guess i was just jealous)! I find myself checking the wiki every now and then to see what you or the frog has spoken of in game. I had the honor of seeing you once a while ago and Mr. Frog answered one of my questions a much longer time ago. Today I went ahead and read this page of yours and I'm impressed! I collect bows as well and I have a small collection of miniatures. I think I prefer hoarding axes and swords, though :) BTW, that bit about pointing out the typos on your contract, pretty bad ass :P

Anyway, you're a cool person in my opinion and I appreciate the touch you have left upon this game (because really, what other games have staff that are so involved with not just the game but their players)! I'm sure you don't need any more praise than you already receive, but I will say it anyway: You go girl! I wish you well on whatever endeavors lie ahead of you now!

Dear Gaile, I was sorry to hear that you were leaving you're post as Community Relations Manager. You will be missed. I would like to take this oppurtunity, on behalf of me and the whole GW community, to thank you for all the hard work you have done to help all the community playing Guild Wars. Re the bunny- Gaile and the Frog refer to the rabbit from Pre-Searing during their visits occasionally (supposedly the Frog and the Rabbit play poker together); I suspect that's the bunny in question.

I think I can answer part of this: There will be random drops of Sparklers, Bottle Rockets, and Poppers throughout the game. There will also be collectors in Lion's Arch, Shing Jea Monastery, and Kamadan that will trade certain collectible items for party goods. Which collectibles will they accept? That is the part I don't really know. :-/ However, I am certain that our good wiki community will put up a page and provide that information as soon as the event starts. You'll definitely be missed, Gaile. Not only because you put so much effort in your job, but also for the person you are. I've never seen you angry or short worded, or negative at all in any way, and IMO, that's just as important as being devoted to your work. So yes, you'll definitely be missed. I never said anything more than a simple 'Hello!' to you, but when I saw you were online I abandoned whatever I was doing to look for you. I was sad when I read your message, and up til now I had hope it was an April Fools' joke, but it doesn't seem like it anymore. On the other hand, I'm very happy you got another job you also like. Hello! I was reading your page and I registered GWW just to post here. I have some suggestions to make and I think that is the ArenaNet team takes the player's oppinions in consideration, that can only benefit the game.

To start, I'd like to ask you if there's a possibility to create a Portuguese District, since there are a lot of portuguese players (and yes, I say this because I am portuguese, lol, but I have found many of my country playing and lots of them don't go very well with english so I think it would be a good idea...).

About GW2, I would only like to say one thing. Though I have to admit that heroes come in really handy, a lot of the GW's community spirit was lost with them. Now you can solo pass a campaign without that "lfg mission". I hate playing by myself, but people mostly don't need human players anymore. So I'm not saying to kick the heroes out of GW (that would be very controverse), but I started playing with the first GW and I really learned how to play and I love it. What I sense is that now any n00b can finish the game. Maybe you've already been tld this, lol, sorry. About the rest I fully rely on your decisions.

Lastly, I'd just want to appologize for any incorrections, I am aware that my english isn't perfect, though I'm not bad at it.

The Support Liaison position is new, a "bridge," if you will, between our Support Team and the developers with an eye to helping players in the best way possible. Issues start with Support, of course. But if a player has a problem that our Support Team is unable to resolve, CS will bump it up to me, and I'll see if I can resolve it, or address the issue to the appropriate person at the studio to learn if there is a possible resolution. (Examples: An reported exploit or a possible technical issue that we've not learned about before.) I want to be sure to say that the position won't be about "Appeal to Gaile and she'll give you a 'Get out of jail' card." :)

I will post more when I update my User Page, as I can see there may be others who are curious about how all this will work. But bottom line is that I know I will be making a positive contribution for each and every one of you, sometimes as an individual player, sometimes for the community as a whole. My cat loves to sit on my desk, and watch all the little things pop up on mm screen while playing GW, and even takes a bat or two at all the numbers from taking, recieving dmg, healing, ect. It's quite funny to watch him watch my screen =D --Wolf 01:18, 7 August 2008 (UTC)
