apologies

My apologies matey. you were correct with the move and what you did was fine. I shouldn't have referenced it like that in my response on the talk page. I should have put the warning as its own topic, like what I put up today rather than putting it in the body of a response to an IP like I did then. I was at fault with that, not you, and my apologies once again. :) -- Salome User salome sig2.png 01:47, 7 January 2011 (UTC)

All is good, unless you want to continue a cycle of back and forth apologies, for which I should warn you that as a Canadian, I've been bred for just such a thing. G R E E N E R 01:59, 7 January 2011 (UTC)

Hey Buddy, a little information for me?

I originally posted this on Salome's page as I thought it had a direct line from her previous action, but Salome is away for a bit so I am reposting it here to see if you can shed some light on a course of action for me?

Can you check the page here: 1 is this guy one of you? If so could you ask him to not tell people "you just suck" based on a simple disagreement please?

Also is this guy making warnings to me about posting when he is directly involved in said "argument," (personally I thought it was a discussion (up until his wall o txt - where I thought I bowed out and conceded his win) only reason I let it go on so long. I apologize that I brought this at you and thank you for your time. Rogueonion 15:32, 13 January 2011 (UTC)

I didn't read through all of what was posted on the pages, but your choice to "bow out" was the smartest choice from what I saw. There comes a time when all discussions/arguments come to their end and won't progress further. That one reached that point. You can find the List of admin as well as the Admin noticeboard useful, though your choice to step away was the most appropriate in this case. Feel free to add more on here if there is another nuance you wish to discuss, or if there was something that I had missed. G R E E N E R 22:54, 13 January 2011 (UTC)
Thanks man, I am fairly certain that the "sysops" are only interested in their little "group" being on here so whatever they can have it. May the fleas of a thousand camels find nests in their underpants. I am done with this stupidity. Thanks for being the only cool person on wiki. Rogueonion 22:56, 13 January 2011 (UTC)
Try not to confuse those who have additional technical abilities on the wiki (the admin) with those who happen to express their opinions in a strong manner. Sure, there may be some overlap, but more often than not only a few contributors or stalkers of talk pages seem to make the most noise.
A small group has no more actual power than the rest of the contributors here, but they would like to think that they do. The moment that we let them frustrate us, get us to argue into pointless circles, or any of their other tricks, they win. I know I've decided (wrongly) to comment on what I've seen as a silly statement, only to see that gaining attention was the sole goal of the contributor, and I let him/her win. Ah yes, trolls. That's what they're called here. Walk away, ignore the petty points, and they shrivel up and disappear. G R E E N E R 23:07, 13 January 2011 (UTC)

Hey THANKS for helping me, sorry for spamming the update bar.

Hey dude thanks for helping me with my pictures and all and I didnt know it updated on another page. Thank you so much! --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Leader of Gods (talk).

No worries, and we all spam the recent changes page the first time through. Besides, in the end it was Neil who got your guild cape fixed up. G R E E N E R 01:56, 16 January 2011 (UTC)

Hey is there a way to get a Cape Emblem and then make it a different color, because on the 'Create a Cape' thread everything is red, I need 'Dragon7' to be white. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Leader of Gods (talk).

You would likely have to use a graphics editor to change the colours and layer the images. Photoshop comes to mind, though I'm sure that other, free programs to a limited degree could pull off what you're looking for. Wish I could be of more help. Heck, even Paint may do a decent job, as you can turn that standard red into any colour you wish. You can always go and sample a cape at a Guild Emblemer, and take an image from there.
Also, you can sign your name on talk pages by typing four tildes, ~~~~. G R E E N E R 03:52, 16 January 2011 (UTC)

Trolling?

Where was I trolling? I really do not see what I was doing wrong other than responding in a serious fashion, the only thing I can figure out as doing wrong is posting in an archive which I realized afterwards. If that is the reason, I apologize, if not I am interested in knowing where I am trolling. I do not consider being confrontational trolling, if you however do, then yes, I may have been trolling. 79.203.69.46 10:33, 16 January 2011 (UTC)

@IP: Just to make sure I don't make a strategical mistake, are you Oni or not? Your style suggests you're not, but I need to know for sure before commenting on any of your posts. Morphy 10:58, 16 January 2011 (UTC)
No, I am not Oni, the main reason I do not have an account is because my IP is the same everytime I post, so identifying what posts came from me or not should not be all that hard (ofc remembering a number is harder than a name). Furthermore I have no desire for a own usersection, thus I stick to IP'ing. Also, saying that having an account stops me from posting as an anon is nonsense, just because someone has an account does not mean you can trace every post of that person, you can only trace the post of that person on that account when he/she is logged on. 79.203.69.46 11:38, 16 January 2011 (UTC)

While I am extremely appreciative of all the above, I do see me becoming a sysop as the wiki doing what it thinks is best for itself. My job is now to live up to those expectations. So while I thank all of you for writing here, take a moment and thank the community if you feel that this was a positive move. If you have any concerns, as I said above, do bring them here (with a proper level of decorum, please). It will be welcomed. Now to go and make some tea before settling down.

Check my math (please)

This edit reverted my restoration of calculations based on the results on the talk page. I've since rechecked those calculations and I'm as sure as I can be that the IP's numbers are off and my are correct.

Could you (as a regular contributor) review the calculations and comment? (I don't think we need a sysop's intervention; some of the IP's edits have been reasonable). Thanks!  — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 19:37, 31 January 2011 (UTC)

Asking a math teacher to do math... for shame! I'll double check the edit in just a bit. G R E E N E R 20:39, 31 January 2011 (UTC)
Seems the IP has self-reverted, and yes, the math appears good. Minor point: The columns on that table should be swapped around, with premise first, and conclusions last – swap the first 4 and last 4 columns – to add better flow. Then again, not too many people will be digging through that table in either case, so may not be worth the hassle. G R E E N E R 20:46, 31 January 2011 (UTC)
Good idea. If anyone else comments or suggests that they have trouble following, I will do as you suggest. Thanks for double-checking. (And heck, if I remembered that you taught math... I might have asked you to do the heavy lifting ;-)  — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 20:59, 31 January 2011 (UTC)

Hey

The problem with that was the fact it was a .JPG and I needed to reupload as a .PNG. Is there a way to do that? I tried doing that but it said invalid file extension. How do I reupload with a different file extension Joraala 21:28, 31 January 2011 (UTC)

Guild Wars Wiki:Formatting/Images has some good advice on formatting. If you wish to upload a .png file, first create the destination via red-link File:Example cape.png, and click on it. Make sure that the file you're uploading is in fact a .png or else the wiki will not be able to interpret the file (looking for one thing, getting another). You will have to use a program on your computer to change the actual file type.
I should add that the formatting page suggests that screen caps should be uploaded as .jpg to get the best results. G R E E N E R 21:34, 31 January 2011 (UTC)

Unrequired reading for new sysops

Pling on trolls, trolling, and trollishness

Thought you might enjoy reading as you consider your approach to adminship. (Not meant to endorse a particular point of view, although I tend to agree with User:Pling on this topic.)  — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 21:47, 31 January 2011 (UTC)

I read that page as it was being built, but going over it again is always useful.
Though this isn't the place to discuss it, my concern is how the discussions that have happened on this wiki can be brought over to the GW2 wiki without having to grind through the whole process again. There are some great contributors over there, but much of it seems to have degenerated into a poor-man's forum. Reasons for this are decently obvious, and I hope that a strong unilateral approach will be implemented closer to the release date of the game. G R E E N E R 21:58, 31 January 2011 (UTC)
I haven't visited GW2W much b/c I fail to have that much passion for a game that doesn't (yet) exist. But maybe more GWWers should participate there, too, so that it doesn't (by accident) become unsafe for democracy. Seems like something worth discussing w/the sysop team here so that there's a clear policy.
By the way, since the Pling page is tl;dr cubed, for all those following at home, read the top and read Raine's response. That provides a reasonably good proxy for the main issues, without having to parse 31,000 words (heck, at that size, the tl;dr version of the tl;dr version would still be too long).
  • Pling's main point: we needn't tolerate pervasive or pernicious trolling.
  • Raine's main point: fighting trolling is a matter of discretion...and a matter of sysops not being a'feared to act when appropriate.
For my next act, I will summarize all of Shakespeare in 90 minutes.  — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 22:21, 31 January 2011 (UTC)

I am happy you made it to sysop. I unfortunately would have remained a user of the wiki had not the sysop team trolled me into annoyance instead of helped me to learn. Alas I only logged in to say congrats! Rogueonion 08:49, 9 February 2011 (UTC)

Well, thank you for logging in to say that, but I do hope this is not the last I see of you on this wiki. As I've said before, you have a passion, and to hear that others may have taken that away from you is saddening. Sysops are here to help – in their own unique ways. Those who have been trolling around you haven't been sysops that I've seen, other than a few off-hand (ill-timed?) comments. G R E E N E R 09:02, 9 February 2011 (UTC)
To be fair, I don't recall anyone trolling you; I do, though, remember several times that people called you on your mistakes (i.e. "helped you learn", albeit not in a particularly friendly way). Being unkind and trolling are not the same thing. — Raine Valen User Raine R.gif 14:42, 9 Feb 2011 (UTC)
You are right, they may not be sysops or have been, and Raine you are also correct but the entire point of community is friendliness. Without that there can be no community. Alas Greener, this is the last time, as I am disgusted by the lack of Friendliness on this wiki. Rogueonion 16:02, 9 February 2011 (UTC)
The "entire point" of this community is to document the video game known as Guild Wars, not to be friendly with one another. Confusion in three affiliations

Category:Imperial Guard, Category:Canthan Guard, and Category:Canthans are all used as an affiliation. I do not know of any difference between the first two, and I'm unsure there's a difference in any of them mechanically speaking. And each one is a sub-category of the next. I am thinking of just naming them all Imperial Guards since the name means being a guard of the empire, which Canthan guards are - they just have not-so-fancy armor, which seems to be how they were differentiated previously (but that in fact is merely just a higher ranking armor not a different groups' armor). Furthermore, the Imperial Guard article is written as if describing both supposed groups - it first calls them the "royal Canthan Guard" and then goes to describe tasks and issues the normal Canthan army does/has.
Would you be against merging those two affiliations, at least? I'm still doubting there's a difference mechanically though. -- Konig/talk 00:11, 25 February 2011 (UTC)

Oh, and something I just spotted: Royal Guard Kazuya and Royal Guard (Factions) - affiliations: Canthan Guard. Yeah, I think the Canthan Guard affiliations should be changed to Imperial Guard. -- Konig/talk 00:13, 25 February 2011 (UTC)
Using Imperial Guard and Canthan Guard as affiliations was something that I had done ages ago, before I fully understood the mechanical aspect of "affiliation". Lore wise there did seem to be a difference between the two, but I'll be damned if I can remember which NPC may have stated such, or if was something I dreamt up. Putting them together as one is more than fine by me. Sorry I've been so silent on this project, things have just gotten a tad busier on my end for the past two weeks. I should have time coming up. G R E E N E R 00:35, 25 February 2011 (UTC)
I've begun looking through quests just to double check they're different or the same - I've only gotten through the imperial guard category NPCs and the like, they all indeed refer to themselves as the "Imperial Guard" but furthermore some say "honored Imperial Guard" or even "elite Imperial Guard" (most prominently being the RoT imperial guard ghosts though) - now, whether that means they're the elite of the Imperial Guard or that the Imperial Guard is the elite guard... I'll find out when I finish with going through Canthan Guard NPCs.
At least some listed under the Canthan Guard affiliation refer to themselves as "Canthan Guard," "Kaineng City guard" (note the lowercased g), "city guard" (also note lowercased), "city guardsman" (again, lowercase), and "the guard" (again, lowercase). I, obviously, also looked through quests each guard is a part of. This is not definite, but with each case being lowercased except one... -- Konig/talk 01:42, 25 February 2011 (UTC)
My initial impression, to be taken with a grain of salt, was that where the Canthan guard played the role of police/army of Cantha (answering to the Celestial Ministry, etc.), the Imperial guard were those answering directly to the Emperor. The numerous possible names for the former had given me the idea that they played numerous roles throughout Cantha, reflecting the obtuse and bloated bureaucracy they answered to.
When I had first gone through those NPCs, I had started with the idea that all would be Canthan guard, unless stated/implied otherwise. Notice that this was all designed for lore, so mechanics can easily be saying otherwise. Again, little thought on my part had been given beyond separating out those who seemed to work directly for Kisu. G R E E N E R 02:12, 25 February 2011 (UTC)
I recall a quest where an Imperial Guardsman was hindered by the Celestial Ministry's paperwork which I cannot seem to find now - maybe I was being confused between Red Tape and its mutually exclusive counterpart, the later dealing with an Imperial Guardsman. Considering a line in The Afflicted Guard ("Those who swear service to the Imperial Guard give up all else in life to serve the emperor faithfully." and the conversation between Guard Raabo and Guard Laonan, maybe they are different in lore. Too hard to tell. I'll leave it be for now. -- Konig/talk 02:49, 25 February 2011 (UTC)

"Where can I start"

Thanks for the help G R E E N E R I appreciate it and by the way this is Kronix. Where do you think I should start? --75.69.188.64 04:37, 9 March 2011 (UTC)

That's a good question. Right now, there has been a large influx of new NPCs. We've had the Embark Beach NPCs, the Vanguard Quests, the Mercenary Heroes. Many of these are missing information, or are not conforming to GWW:NPC formatting. I chose NPCs because I have dealt with them a lot.
If that doesn't interest you, there are articles which need rewrites or cleaning up. Interesting in pictures? There are images that we need, and a project which has been set up along those lines (feel free to contact those who are already working on it, or get tips on how to take a screenshot.
Another idea is to keep an eye on the Recent changes page and see what people are up to. You can learn a lot just by watching! There are always many things on the go around here.
P.S. There is no need to capitalize my name with the spaces. That's too much of a hassle to type for anyone ; ) G R E E N E R 05:37, 9 March 2011 (UTC)

I apologise. --Kram 21:56, 12 March 2011 (UTC)
No harm, no foul. G R E E N E R 22:02, 12 March 2011 (UTC)

thank you

For the corrections although I think it/you also capitalized my username which I created at lowercase. Soul4hdwn 16:48, 12 March 2011 (UTC)

The capitalization of your username was done automatically by the wiki upon creation. It was not something that I could have done, sorry. G R E E N E R 16:50, 12 March 2011 (UTC)

could you check out my ideas

here: [[1]] and see if they hold any merit and perhaps can be implemented/tested? I know there will be a considerable amount of people fighting against it but it seems to me that the whole rogueonion thing could have been avoided had this or something like it been implemented earlier. 108.75.73.62 19:50, 16 March 2011 (UTC)

Generally when I see walls of texts like that, especially when in a rush, I put them off 'til later. That being said, I gave it a quick skim for you, and will put my off-the-cuff response here as well (rather than as a non sequitur there.
There are two difficult tripping stones that I see for users who want to start in the feedback-space (and this is from watching people try). First, the need to create an account on this wiki. That information is in the instructions (I'll go check the details later tonight). Second, figuring out how to MAKE a suggestion properly, once their feedback page has been made. This seems to be because the instructions on making a suggestion are scattered over a couple of different help pages (I'll link later). The former is a necessary evil (the difficulty purposefully put in so that contributors commit to making a suggestion). The second seems absurdly cumbersome (anecdotal).
I'll hopefully give a better answer later, and perhaps on the where the conversation is actually taking place. G R E E N E R 02:03, 17 March 2011 (UTC)
Gave a quick response on that page, which I had hoped not to do, but just don't have the time tonight. G R E E N E R 05:18, 17 March 2011 (UTC)

Image update help

I went ahead and filled in the gray components images for the Elite Kurzick male necro armor the other day (since my necro wears it anyway), but one of the images still won't display right. I had uploaded the wrong one originally, then overwrote it with the right one. Problem is, on the page, the wrong image still shows up, but when you click on it, you see the right one. Any idea how to fix that? Thanks! User Nathe iconR.png Nathe 20:48, 16 March 2011 (UTC)

I think it might be a caching issue. Either GWW hasn't updated it yet (if that's the case then wait a while) or your browser is storing the old version of the page. --Lania User Lania Elderfire pinkribbon.jpg20:56, 16 March 2011 (UTC)
I thought it might be related to that, but when I opened the page in Firefox (I've been using Chrome lately), the same thing happened. It's been a couple days since I uploaded the images. Does it normally take this long? User Nathe iconR.png Nathe
No, it shouldn't. Which one is it that looks wrong? When I viewed them just now, they all appeared consistent to me.  — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 21:01, 16 March 2011 (UTC)
The second one. Lania might be right, I'll clear my cache and see what happens. User Nathe iconR.png Nathe 21:05, 16 March 2011 (UTC)
Didn't work. Cleared the cache from both Chrome and Firefox, still shows the wrong image when I open the page. User Nathe iconR.png Nathe 21:08, 16 March 2011 (UTC)
Hmmn, not supposed to be wearing his pants? It looks wrong to me, too. (Was looking at the wrong section before.) I tried manually purging, but that didn't seem to help.  — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 21:10, 16 March 2011 (UTC)
I'm seeing the same thing as well on File:Necromancer Elite Kurzick armor m gray back chest feet.jpg. seems like a internal GWW issue. --Lania User Lania Elderfire pinkribbon.jpg21:13, 16 March 2011 (UTC)
I know when I updated my wiki page it didn't change the picture right away so I ended up uploading the same picture 4 or 5 times. after I did that I realized that I only had to do it once because GWW just takes time to update it's servers. so it might be all good or it might just be being stupid. Hope that Helps Ocren 21:47, 16 March 2011 (UTC)
Hey Nathe, sorry to get back to this later in the day (Doing 8 hrs. a day for my brother, on top of my regular clientele is killing me). I assume you were talking about File:Necromancer Elite Kurzick armor m gray back chest feet.jpg. Seems that the server has caught up to itself, as both the page and the image are working out well now. And yeah, those slow image change-overs are a pain. G R E E N E R 01:40, 17 March 2011 (UTC)
Thanks, and I appreciate the response. That was the image, yes, guess it was as you said, the server was just being really slow. --User Nathe iconR.png Nathe 15:41, 18 March 2011 (UTC)
@Nathe: do you think it's worth updating a wiki FAQ or putting a note on Help:Ask a wiki question? Clearly, this is going to come up again for someone else.  — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 15:45, 18 March 2011 (UTC)

File:Low report.jpg and File:GWWdatabase error.jpg are both in use in the Feedback namespace. - J.P.User J.P. sigicon.pngTalk 08:50, 20 March 2011 (UTC)

Well bloody hell. That's what I get for not considering [[:File:...]] vs. [[File:...]]. I completely forgot that the former doesn't appear on the regular file page. Thanks for pointing that out, J.P. G R E E N E R 09:57, 20 March 2011 (UTC)
I've never understood why they don't. - J.P.User J.P. sigicon.pngTalk 10:45, 20 March 2011 (UTC)
Either way, it just means that when I'm exhausted, I still can't take a "lazier" route to scratching off files. It's a good thing to be reminded of. G R E E N E R 16:18, 20 March 2011 (UTC)
You still haven't restored them? - J.P.User J.P. sigicon.pngTalk 18:59, 20 March 2011 (UTC)
Sadly, pictures, once gone, cannot be restored. The one uploaded by Wyn was a screencap of the database error message, quoted by Pling. The image linked from Gaile's page was the screencap of another company using Anet images, which seems to have been responded to already by Gaile. I contemplated contacting Kamikae for a re-upload, but it seemed moot. I am more than willing to though, if you feel the image should be retained (then again, as I type this, having their work on our wiki may be a copy-vio). G R E E N E R 19:41, 20 March 2011 (UTC)
“I've never understood why they don't” – The list on the image page shows which pages use that image. Plain links are only available on WhatLinksHere; otherwise each article would need to have a list of what links there too, right? (eh, rather no ^^) poke | talk 09:31, 22 March 2011 (UTC)
Oh! “Sadly, pictures, once gone, cannot be restored” – Actually, that's not true at all. File revisions can be restored for quite a longer while now... poke | talk 09:34, 22 March 2011 (UTC)
Good to know! Do you know a better wording that should go here? Or should the line about images just be removed? G R E E N E R 01:37, 23 March 2011 (UTC)
I took it out, since all that'd been left was something about not deleting pages you're not sure about - which is something that's so logical it isn't even worth mentioning. WhyUser talk:Why 01:41, 23 March 2011 (UTC)
That guide is actually quite stupid/outdated/unneeded/bleh... poke | talk 09:53, 23 March 2011 (UTC)

Ledge farmer post no more?

This seemed like an appropriate post. It wasn't QQ. It was a a polite "hey, this had a big impact on the game" post. It turned into something more distracting, so, for the next time, would it be appropriate just to move part of the thread? Or is that just asking for ppls to continue to comment (and go off topic)?  — Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 03:52, 25 March 2011 (UTC)

This contained feedback for the devs. I'd appreciate it if you'd put it back. I didn’t leave my comments for them to be put where the devs won’t read them. If you thought it was straying from feedback and turning into a discussion, you could've just left your note about this not being a forum and then followed up on people who posted after your note. Thanks. Sardaukar User Sardaukar sig.png 03:55, 25 March 2011 (UTC)
I'm writing this with my eyes half-shut, so if there are any non sequiturs or run on sentences, point them out and I'll edit them later. @TEF, you're right in that the first post was someone wanting to emote opine [EDIT:Now I see where confusion was], which is fine and something I tend to glaze over; but as is often the case, it's the second time around that gets you caught. There may have been a place part-way down which could have been seen as a cut-off point, but that long section just proves the fact that this wiki is not designed for – nor intended to be – a forum. One thing I noticed I did not do was provide a link to a forum for the contributor, which I've gone back to do. As for going off-topic, that tends to be the modus operandi of those responding to emotional posts, which as stated, this wiki is not meant for. Am I sympathetic, yes, and if your eyes are more open than mine right now, please feel free to move a portion of the text which is factual/useful back onto the page. I defer to your judgment.
@Sardaukar, Feedback:User/Sardaukar. G R E E N E R 05:41, 25 March 2011 (UTC)
I am a noob at this, we can all agree. But I am puzzled, even after reading your comment, as to why my second post caused the entire thread to be removed. Yes, my first post was emotion-laden, an obtuse attempt to let the developers know the extent to which they had affected legitimate players. But my second post was not emotional, quite the contrary. I was attempting to summarize, to address briefly (and factually) some of the apparent stigma attached to farming which seemed to underlay many of the comments -- and to direct a message specifically at the developers. Okay, you did not think much of my attempt to get the discussion back on-point and bring it to some conclusion. If I had to choose, I would keep my second comment and lose the first. But I will be the first to admit that my words are such puny things. Thank you for listening. Sjhshh 18:15, 25 March 2011 (UTC)

People were giving their opinions, their feedback, in a discussion with each other. It may be a discussion, but it's still feedback. In addition to that, that particular discussion was nowhere near filling up the page, or causing an overwhelming amount of clutter, it was not in anyone's way, and yet was still letting anyone who read the page know how the players feel(That's feedback, you know). There was no reason to god mod it, so stop being a dingbat, Greener. You were wrong, man up, admit it, deal with it, and stop trying to justify it. σ_σ--Gerroh 01:06, 26 March 2011 (UTC)

Thanks Gerroh, I needed a good laugh to come back to ; ). Sjhshh, I did not mean to say that your posts were emotional; the possible non sequiturs I alluded to seem to have snuck in there. I did a poor parallel between the section that I moved, and the more general causes of spam-following-spam that appears with some posts, the most often cause being posts made by someone who feels very emotional about a topic.
As I had pointed out, others are more than able to undo the move that I had done, be it in whole or in part. I am far from the end-all or be-all around here, and one of the strengths of this wiki is the GWW:BOLD aspect it has. It is always easier with some discourse, as you kindly brought to my page, and I hope you do take the time to empower yourself. I'll swing by your page and leave a message there saying the same thing, in case you don't read it here.
I'll read up on the post below, and find out why the Recent Changes seems to have exploded, once I unpack. G R E E N E R 01:48, 28 March 2011 (UTC)
Thank you for following up. Be bold? I guess that’s not the lesson I took from last week. When I read that you had moved the entire thread because of my second comment, which was intended in good faith to be within the scope of a developer feedback page, I was more than a little dismayed. But, hey, my original comment and several responses have been restored. I will settle for half a loaf and an in-game title of Champion of Lost Causes. I have been too ardent an admirer of this game and the wiki for too long and, as my wife suggests, I should just let it go -- and my wife, as always, is correct. No need to respond. We both have other things to attend to and vita brevis. Thank you again. Sjhshh 21:40, 28 March 2011 (UTC)

Jon the Mon

Has been removing my comments from pages, as well as moving them about when I reported it to the admin notice board. I am asking you as sysop to step in. 108.75.73.62 21:23, 27 March 2011 (UTC)

You might be interested that Jon is a sysop himself, and that his actions are actually supported by previous consensus on the matter of submitting feedback on an ArenaNet member's talk page. poke | talk 21:40, 27 March 2011 (UTC)
(Edit conflict) Although I'm not a sysop or anything, from my perspective you're in the realm of trolling. You've already made your point on John Stumme's page before, and it was obvious he saw (he commented in the section). Yet you bring it up again twice, just because you alone have an issue with something. And when someone properly moved it, you just started it up again, blaming a completely different person for every action when he only did some. -- Konig/talk 21:41, 27 March 2011 (UTC)
I have to disagree with you, I have never before today stated that "Mesmer has received nothing other than buffs in the last year" until today, yes all of those discussions regard mesmer and things that are wrong. However, it did need to be noted that they are indeed being nothing other than buffed. 108.75.73.62 21:45, 27 March 2011 (UTC)

Making an account

is useless. This is so beyond mesmer it isn't even funny. The fact of the matter is that people are deliberately moving non suggestion comment threads off of pages because they disagree with them. I do not respect anyone for allowing such a blatant disregard for the rules they are so actively trying to claim they support. 108.75.73.62 10:22, 28 March 2011 (UTC)

Yo, briar is being an instigator can you please remove his inflammatory link from my page to his in an effort to control his drama. 108.75.73.62 13:15, 28 March 2011 (UTC)
Assuming that this back and forth has died down, and everyone involved has taken a step back and a breather, I would suggest archiving your talk page. If you're not sure how to do that, or if you'd like me to do it for you, just ask. G R E E N E R 15:23, 2 April 2011 (UTC)
