Defensive skills on a warrior are boring. I think the skill should just be reworked completely. P A R A S I T I C 17:44, 4 March 2008 (UTC)

So what happens when there comes someone around that actually wants to tank? No skills for him? I'm not saying tanks help anything since I generally play with all-caster groups when I do play pve, but there should be skills for those who do. — Galil Talk page 17:49, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
This is basically a pve skill. I don't think there's really any way I'd want this skill changed. Pluto 06:45, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

this has no use rather than running on PvE , no1 takes this over an elite attack skills , for tank i prefer other stuff like obsidian flesh tank than using this , this should really be totally reworked , it's just an elite version of endure pain 189.70.153.219 20:27, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

i realy like what they have done whit this skill its so uber. hoping they wont nerf it Oo redlord

Since this has been updated should it be counted as dealt with now or are the issues still there (I mean it's still defensive for example but it has at least been buffed)?
In my opinion it should be removed from the list; I've seen countless people using this in RA & Fort Aspenwood. --Image:User_Chieftain_Alex_Chieftain Signature.pngChieftain Alex 17:47, 9 October 2008 (UTC)
Agreed there is no issue here, its a nice skill and Warriors need more tanking potential anyway. It makes no sense for the class in plate armour to be unable to tank effectively. Mordax Praetorian

Now that I have more time on my hands I thought I'd address some of the suggestions directly. Firstly, if you can't upkeep this, take an IAS skill, if you still can't upkeep this, pick another profession. Secondly, Defy Pain is powerful because you can upkeep it, giving the enemy an extra 250->300 health to carve through, giving you AL100 (assuming no other armour buffs), and a reasonable damage reduction, which imo is a very good trade for an elite slot. On its own it doesn't make you a tank, this is true, but it works very well as the core of a warrior tanking build. Mordax Praetorian 19:49, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
