Halloween page images[edit]

Was there a reason you moved those? they are part of Decorated Towns, not Items.... --Wyn's Talk page Wyn 07:42, 25 October 2008 (UTC)

because they up on the titles... I know that it's not the right place, but they close to the real subject and now it's looking well and not up on any titles.
I'm web designer, so I'm working much time with usability, and sometimes change pictures place can help.. --Itay Alon 07:48, 25 October 2008 (UTC)
Up on titles, is not an issue.. the issue is when someone goes to edit the section on decorated towns, they aren't going to have access to the images where you put them..... --Wyn's Talk page Wyn 08:01, 25 October 2008 (UTC)
Ok, I understand what you talking about and change it, it's rly not thing that i though about. --Itay Alon 08:17, 25 October 2008 (UTC)

Revert timetable[edit]

Could I ask for the reason you reverted the position of the timetable on Wintersday 2008 ? --User Karasu sig.png Karasu (talk) 14:06, 2 January 2009 (UTC)

The purpose of wiki is information, and using float only for style it's not the aim, more over, every holiday and year we add some pictures near the spaces, and not start float all the tables, it isn't he way to solve spaces problem. --Itay Alon 14:13, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
Yes, this is a wiki, and it has information, but it is also a community effort, not your own personal project. You may find the following pages interesting: GWW:1RR and GWW:NPA (since you used 'hypocrite' on Wintersday 2008 discussion page). As a web designer, you are surely quite knowledgeable about page layout. But please also understand that your idea of design is not necessarily shared by the majority of the community. Personally, I have to agree with the people that attempted to make it a more pleasing environment, in spite of the attempt of one person (you) to squash those attempts. 140.113.152.201 16:17, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
Again, I know your point, but it's like the other holiday, you cannot change the position of objects because is there space, space isn't an issue, but order and usability are issues, so you cannot force your opinion about the space on other. --Itay Alon 18:43, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
Then why are you forcing your opinion on the whole community? As I see the history of the section in question, there were several people that were trying a few different ways to format that part. This is, as you say, a wiki, which by definition is supposed to allow people (that's plural) to change things. However, you changed the section back to your way each time. That was not a nice wiki-citizen way. Do you have an official Guild Wars wiki badge that gives you the godly power to ignore the community?
Oh well, the event is over, let's put it to rest. Just, please be more considerate of other people in the future. And try not to call people names just because they have differing views. 140.113.152.201 19:15, 2 January 2009 (UTC)
Because there are a group of few people that said something, it's not means that everyone in the community think so. only a few said they want it, so i guess if the others don't saw it or don't know how to change it, it not say that they like it, and think about usability, for me and more people that send me a message in messenger it's non tolerable, and for the few that want it they can tolerate some space...
I know your point, and I talk with you to see your opinion, but I think that you have seen only point of view of yours. --Itay Alon 07:22, 3 January 2009 (UTC)
Whatever.. It looks nice when the table doesn't take a whole buffer of space in the middle of the page. It's logical that you try to put it next to the text if you inline the pictures. I really don't see why you don't like it the other way. --User Karasu sig.png Karasu (talk) 10:04, 3 January 2009 (UTC)

Has there been any messages from people saying they don't want the table floating, apart from you?--King Of Kamelott Talk Page 17:30, 3 January 2009 (UTC)

Not here, but... I give up, the few won =/ --Itay Alon 17:32, 3 January 2009 (UTC)

pvp skills[edit]

Did you notice that those edits you made, adding pvp to the end of the name, caused the icons to disappear? --mira castillo 15:30, 22 June 2009 (UTC)

No, I did't --Itay Alon 15:03, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
Did you notice that those skills that you changed the image name for have had PvP icons uploaded for them? --JonTheMon 12:45, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
Skill tables call the image in the skills' infoboxes, meaning something like List of PvP versions of skills now displays the PvE versions of the images (and those images have redirects leading to the PvE skill, which would be incorrect). Changes such as these should be reverted. --User Brains12 circle sig.png Brains12 \ talk 14:51, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
I saw many images uploaded more than once just because they has a pvp version, so I changed it. If you see some mistake you may change it again, your choice. Moreover, i wasn't the first that did it, so i thought it's ok. --Itay Alon 15:17, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
Thanks for helping with the uploads :) --User Brains12 circle sig.png Brains12 \ talk 15:33, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

1RV[edit]

A double revert (http://wiki.guildwars.com/index.php?title=Halloween_2009&oldid=1759376 and http://wiki.guildwars.com/index.php?title=Halloween_2009&oldid=1759348) is not cool, particularly when there is already a GWWT:GF#Time Zones discussion ongoing. --DryHumour 18:13, 31 October 2009 (UTC)

Not blue[edit]

I really dislike the blue on the canthan new year page.......... -- Wyn User Wynthyst sig icon2.png talk 16:50, 5 February 2010 (UTC)

I know, i'm trying to find a good color for canthan new year events page, but don't sure... --Itay Alon 16:53, 5 February 2010 (UTC)
I think we need to select an accent color to be used on all event pages. I started a discussion here. -- Wyn User Wynthyst sig icon2.png talk 17:01, 5 February 2010 (UTC)
