4 Year Anniversary Rocks![edit]

I am totally pumped about all the amazing upgrades my account is getting this year. Here is a brief recap of all the things they are adding:

1. Storage Upgrades

They are giving away a FREE storage pane as well as providing the option for more if necessary. I was doing well with the 4 I had, but the more the merrier. I probably wont buy any extra storage, but Ill take the FREE one, thanks.

The option to buy a separate bag for armor and weapons is also a bonus. This will help my farming. I already have so many of my slots full with excess crafting materials and PvE sweets that farming is terrible. Now all those weapons have a place of their own.

2. Hall of Monuments Upgrade

I've been working off and on for a year now to get all the titles for one character to fill my HoM for GW2. While some of the titles still arent account wide I can still feel like they are when I look at them in my HoM. Still, it would be nice to put the Dervish away for a while in favor of a ranger or elemental or something else.

3. Zaishen Managerie

I've been afraid of trading away my Black Moa for fear of never being able to get one again, but now there are no worries! Plus I can get other evolutions of it if I so desire to revisit it.

4. Redesign Your Character

Always something I wondered if Anet would ever do. Granted, it costs money to do, but I don't mind because I don't plan on doing it. Also changing one of my friends characters on my account to a male would be nice, but still not worth the $10

5. Zaishen Challenge Quests

Replay missions for gold, XP, and Zcoins is pretty cool. But I do mostly PvE so the more rewarding PvP quests wont benefit me very much.

6. Rename Yourself

I had the same thoughts about this as I had about "Redesign Your Character". In the end, its something I think is long over due.

7. The Traveler

This will be amazing. It's a chance at free intoxication/sweet tooth points and also tonics, fireworks, summoning stones, and other weapons some of which are only accessible through Nicholas.

Pre-Searing Armor upgrades (ie runes and isignia)[edit]

I think a list of available pre-searing armor upgrades like runes and insignias is something that needs to be put into the wiki. I am going to work on a wiki page for this. If you have any that you would like to contribute to the knowledge base, please pm me in pre-searing under the name "Elwing Gil Estel". Thanks!

Ok, so I did some looking into and it appears that all insignias for the core professions are available in pre-searing as well as all of the minor runes for all of the core professions. I dont really see that information as deserving a whole new page. Maybe a note at the bottom of some page though.--Jvinniec 05:15, 9 June 2009 (UTC)
