A Meeting With the Emperor

A Meeting With the Emperor is bugged. The problem is that players who enter Tahnnakai Temple spawn past the trigger point for Mhenlo and Togo's conversation, so they will only trigger the conversation if they walk back towards the exit. -- Gordon Ecker 01:52, 13 July 2007 (UTC)

This will probably be fairly easy to fix, I'll put it on my list. Thanks! - Elementalist-icon-small.pngLinsey talk 18:08, 13 July 2007 (UTC)

Pledge of the Merchant Princes

Pledge of the Merchant Princes has a very tiny bug - it makes the three princes (Prince Mehtu the Wise, Prince Bokka the Magnificent and Prince Ahmtur the Mighty) to appear together in front of the library at the Halls of Chokhin...But Prince Mehtu is also seen at his usual spot inside the library. The result is that NPC appears twice in the same map. Very small thing, but would be nice if it could be fixed : ) Erasculio 12:52, 15 July 2007 (UTC)

Good Demon Hunting

Hi Linsey. Not sure if this falls within your remit here, but something I just remembered while elite capping: the Forgotten Warden doesn't spawn at the res shrine outside Gate of the Nightfallen Lands while the quest Good Demon Hunting is active. Is this intentional, or another "bug" to be fixed? Though it did strike me that perhaps this is intentional to prevent LB farming using the quest and the additional monsters spawned from it... --BramStoker (talk, contribs) 15:34, 21 July 2007 (UTC)

The Villainy of Galrath

May i turn your attention to this, Miss ~ KurdKurdsig.png 21:44, 21 July 2007 (UTC)

I'll look into it thanks! - Elementalist-icon-small.pngLinsey talk 06:12, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
I have to add that this isn't just a problem with Villany, but with any quest that gives you an item as a reward if your inventory is full. --Valshia 23:57, 5 August 2007 (UTC)

For a Price

I just did the For a Price quest to get Margrid once I got to Shifty Lem and got the map, Margid gave out the reward. When I went to accept the reward my inventory was full and when I accepted the reward it notified me of it. So I went into my inventory and got rid of an item and tried accept the reward again. But when I talked to Margrid she didn't have the reward and just mumbled something. So I left to start the quest over again but when I went into Marga Coast she was not there anymore, I even ran to were she gave out the reward and wasn't there either. I figured i would go back to Jahai Bluffs and see if she was there and she was. Not sure this was intentional or it is a bug. Hopefully I can get some feedback on to what it is. --Sktbrd341 04:03, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

I'll pass this along to Albert who works on the Primary quests. Thanks for the heads up! - Elementalist-icon-small.pngLinsey talk 06:20, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
No problem seems like this wiki is getting some good use out of it, allowing player's to let the team know of any problems within the game. --Sktbrd341 06:22, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

Drink of the Gods

Hi Linsey, noticed this anomaly yesterday with this quest so thought I would let you know. The quest objective states that you need to defeat the demons guarding the wine. This isn't true as you can run through them and touch the crate of wine to complete the objective then map back to receive the reward without having to kill anything. --Lemming64 00:27, 19 July 2007 (UTC)

I actually got a different problem - near the wine spawned a margonite chest, and with it a full group of enemies. --Pulse 14:39, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
Chests do not spawn groups, groups spawn chests. If you do the quest regularly, you'll notice there is a group of Arms of Insanity, they are the ones guarding the wine crate, and then there's a nearby group of mixed Torment demons. That group can sometimes be avoided, but most of the time, you need to fight them as well. You don't have to fight the two groups combined though. It's easy to separate them. Also, the Arms are not combined, you can pull them out one by one. --Karlos 09:55, 22 July 2007 (UTC)

Stolen Eggs

The conversation between Sergeant Rodrik and the Bandit Leader loops indefinitely until one of the groups is aggroed. -- Gordon Ecker 03:58, 28 July 2007 (UTC)

Stone Summit Beastmasters

Aidan spawns next to a large group of snow ettins, and gets clobbered before he gets to say his lines or even have a chance to save him. The only way I got the dialogue from him was to flag the heroes/henchmen to the cave entrance before I get close enough for them to spawn. Also, although definitely not as bad, the one that gives the quest, Artemis the Ranger, sometimes gets aggroed by the stone summit group between her and Rangil Ironbow. -Smurf 12:34, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

Defend Droknar's Forge

As detailed here the accept dialogue for this quest is kinda odd - shouldn't it be the other lot of dwarves you're helping out if Droknar's is under threat? --NieA7 16:59, 5 August 2007 (UTC)

Getting any kind of text changes is not an easy thing for me, but I can pass this on to the writing team. - User Linsey Murdock sig.jpgLinsey talk 00:31, 18 August 2007 (UTC)

Little Creatures

According to this, if you kill the mantid in this quest before you actually start the quest, the queen mantid will not spawn and you will have to restart the quest. Killer Revan 03:39, 6 August 2007 (UTC)

Sticks and Stones

According to the Quest describing, you have to get 10 glowing shards for completing the Quest. But there are no glowing shards in the game. The required items are called Inscribed Shards. As the enemies that drop those are Graven Monoliths, it would be better to rename the Quest describing. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:Lord Nelson .

I'd prefer to see Inscribed Shards renamed to Glowing Shards, with Dayoesh's dialogue altered accordingly, but either way would work. -- Gordon Ecker 20:41, 17 August 2007 (UTC)

The Wayward Monk

Did this quest recently and got cheated out of the skills because my secondary wasn't monk at the time that I turned it in - you don't really get a warning that you complete the quest by talking to Mhenlo... I do, however, know that purchasing hero skills with hero skill points permanently unlocks skills for your character whether or not that's your secondary at the time. Any chance you could take a look at this and see if this can be changed? It's just a minor inconvenience, really, but it's never too bold to ask.--T-Lo 03:39, 12 August 2007 (UTC)

So let me get this straight. You are saying that because you didn't have secondary monk, the skills weren't even unlocked for your character and/or not unlocked on you account? Either one would be an issue. Thanks for the report! - User Linsey Murdock sig.jpgLinsey talk 04:26, 12 August 2007 (UTC)
I believe this occurs any time you take a quest which gives skills for your secondary profession, then change secondaries to something else before accepting the reward. -- Gordon Ecker 06:15, 12 August 2007 (UTC)

Dropping Eaves

During the conversation between the two White Mantle Zealots, the last two parts of dialogue appear to have been accidentally swapped:

White Mantle Zealot A: "Wait did you hear something?"
White Mantle Zealot B: "It's nothing; you jump at shadows. This place has us both on edge."
White Mantle Zealot A: "Better safe than sorry. Our friend inside the Shining Blade does not inspire much confidence in me. Have you ever thought that perhaps he might be playing us false?"
White Mantle Zealot B: "The let us be away before we are discovered."
White Mantle Zealot A: "No, of course not."

I believe this is how the conversation is supposed to go:

White Mantle Zealot A: "Wait did you hear something?"
White Mantle Zealot B: "It's nothing; you jump at shadows. This place has us both on edge."
White Mantle Zealot A: "Better safe than sorry. Our friend inside the Shining Blade does not inspire much confidence in me. Have you ever thought that perhaps he might be playing us false?"
White Mantle Zealot B: "No, of course not."
White Mantle Zealot A: "The let us be away before we are discovered."

Vabbian Child in Tihark Orchard

User Santax Vabbian Child.jpg

I was out looking for Skree Wings in Tihark Orchard so I could get the mysterious Nesting Material, and I noticed the Vabbian Child's dialogue was still slightly bugged. I know there was a bugfix a while ago that fixed her dialogue and her father's from getting mixed up, but despite it being fixed in the chat box, the text bubbles above their heads are still mixed up during their conversation. She also seems to have the same dialogue assigned to her as another Vabbian civilian unit (see picture). Yeah, just thought I should bring that to your attention :) --Santax (talk · contribs) 17:24, 27 August 2007 (UTC)

Spirit Bond glitch

I have noticed several times that after casting Spirit Bond and trying to recast at 8 or 9 hits, it will drop the enchantment after one hit on the recasted Spirit Bond rather then resetting the count to 10. It happened several times to me in Fissure of Woe and when I used Spirit Bond on my survivor it dropped and killed me. This glitch gets anoying in Fissure of Woe and now I'm really mad that it killed my survivor. I was also wondering if there was anyway to delete the death since it was because of a glitch. Thank-you. (Deceptions Demon)

First of all, they can't do that. Second of all, I'm pretty sure skill mechanics aren't Linsey's thing. - User HeWhoIsPale sig.PNG HeWhoIsPale 19:21, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
Is the way the skill works i belive, you have to cast it again AFTER it wears off, NO while is in effect Soulwinter 20:46, 11 August 2008 (UTC)

Im typing here, because we already tried where we could but with no result.
