Well, here you can send me messages and stuff, I |update: DON'T|check it regularly so you really have to wait long.

Walkthrough sections

Hi there, the formatting guidelines for quest pages put walkthrough sections as two-level headers instead of three. That section is separate to the quest information section and serves a different purpose (the latter is for the quest log details, such as objectives and rewards). --User Brains12 circle sig.png Brains12 \ talk 19:35, 11 May 2009 (UTC)

 • Oh dear god, my eyes tricked me. And I "corrected" almost all the pre searing quests!!! arghghghghhghg okay I'll delete the two ='s now... grrrrrrMadSkillz1o1 19:37, 11 May 2009 (UTC)MadSkillz1o1
Sorry to be a bother and thanks :P --User Brains12 circle sig.png Brains12 \ talk 19:39, 11 May 2009 (UTC)
Yippers, it's done. Its all good now I think. Just a few maps and a few walkthroughs and all the pre-searing quests will be 100% filled =D. Coolio.MadSkillz1o1 15:39, 15 May 2009 (UTC)MadSkillz1o1
Nice, good going. --User Brains12 circle sig.png Brains12 \ talk 19:58, 11 May 2009 (UTC)

[ [xyzzy] ]s

Hey, just saw an edit you made, and I thought you might like to know that for e.g. Restless Corpses you can just write Restless Corpses instead of Restless Corpses ... actually, from quick testing, it looks like everything between the ]] and whitespace is made part of the link. :) --Star Weaver 18:38, 15 May 2009 (UTC)

mmh ? I thought that if you do that the "s" is in black then (not part of the link). Ill test it out right now ^^ MadSkillz1o1 19:32, 15 May 2009 (UTC)MadSkillz1o1
Oooooh you are right :D well that's convenient. Thanks! MadSkillz1o1 19:33, 15 May 2009 (UTC)MadSkillz1o1
:). Also, if you do Something (outpost) (note extra pipe), it will save as Something, which can be a great shortcut for things like, mission outposts :D. --Star Weaver 19:48, 15 May 2009 (UTC)
Pretty neat :P is there a page with these wiki tricks ? They could help a lot ^^ MadSkillz1o1 19:51, 15 May 2009 (UTC)MadSkillz1o1
Well, Help:Editing and the mediawiki / metawiki / wikimedia / wikipedia / w/e links at the bottom are a good start. IDK where I figured this stuff out anymore though. :) --Star Weaver 19:59, 15 May 2009 (UTC)

Test

I'll just test my sig now. User MadSkillz1o1 sig image.JPG MadSkillz1o1 16:54, 17 May 2009 (UTC)MadSkillz1o1

Hey, Thanks!

For adding that bit of trivia to Anton's page. ^^ That was really cool of you, I hadn't had a chance, XD Thanks a bunch! Elysea 07:28, 26 May 2009 (UTC)

*black man voice* Well I do what I do and I do what I do.... ^^ Thanks for the praise :P MadSkillz1o1 17:24, 26 May 2009 (UTC)

template

User:MadSkillz1o1/Template:Quest_checklist - have fun --User Karasu sig.png Karasu (talk) 22:13, 5 June 2009 (UTC)

It's badly named, it should be User:MadSkillz1o1/Template/Quest checklist. Colons in names indicate a namespace. If you want help let me know. --Wyn's Talk page Wyn 01:56, 6 June 2009 (UTC)
Wow Karasu, thank you very very much! Can I just ask how you did that ? Is there something special behind it ? Thanks again =D User MadSkillz1o1 Smail.jpeg MadSkillz1o1 11:13, 6 June 2009 (UTC)
It's pretty simple. Everything that code does is create a table row and add each parameter on the correct spot. Look at some wikimedia Template guides for the basics. --User Karasu sig.png Karasu (talk) 11:16, 6 June 2009 (UTC)
Hey karasu, you seem to be pretty good at this, and I need some advice if you care to answer ^^ On my MadSkillz1o1 page you will see that my pictures are just stacked one on top of the other. Is there any way I can make it so that there's one picture per character ? Thanks in advance User MadSkillz1o1 Smail.jpeg MadSkillz1o1 11:54, 6 June 2009 (UTC)
I'd say use tables. One row per character. See the help section, basic editing, tables on how you do that. Otherwise I'd suggest using a different page per char. --User Karasu sig.png Karasu (talk) 12:07, 6 June 2009 (UTC)

User page

Heya, just an FYI, your userpage is almost 3x as large as what the User page policy allows. You may wish to move some of the images to character subpages. --Wyn's Talk page Wyn 12:31, 6 June 2009 (UTC)

Oh I didn't even know that there was a policy for large-ness. I'll try to change it now... User MadSkillz1o1 Smail.jpeg MadSkillz1o1 13:21, 6 June 2009 (UTC)
Okay, fixed it :) I deleted the "characters" section on my main page and made a subpage here. I think that looks better :P Well, now I'll try to make that table you mentioned so pictures fit into their appropriate spot =) Tell me if there's still anything wrong with the page ^^ thanks! User MadSkillz1o1 Smail.jpeg MadSkillz1o1 13:33, 6 June 2009 (UTC)

Your Sig...

Is a bit messy in that JPG format,i made you a little custom one,if you want to use it,the code is...

 MadSkillz 1o1

thats turns into

User MadSkillz1o1 sig2.PNG MadSkillz 1o1

I commented practicly the same thing on your GW2 wiki page, you didnt reply so i came here ^_^ --Neil2250 User Neil2250 sig icon5.jpg 09:31, 6 February 2010 (UTC)

The code will be different now as I have moved the image to the correct name. The new code will be
 MadSkillz 1o1

Sword Pommel of Charrslaying

check this page out. There are various collectors with salvagable items which can give you this mod. —ZerphatalkThe Improver 14:11, 28 February 2010 (UTC)

Thanks, but I already have that one ;) If you find any others I don't have yet, please message me :) User MadSkillz1o1 sig2.PNG MadSkillz1o1 14:19, 28 February 2010 (UTC)
i think i have two 20% "of Insertnamehereslaying" suffixes stored somewhere, but one of them is an Axe Grip of of Dwarfslaying, and you're only looking for Sword Pommels :P —ZerphatalkThe Improver 19:12, 28 February 2010 (UTC)
Hey, that's okay, I'll take the axes one too then. I have a friend collecting these upgrades but for axe :P User MadSkillz1o1 sig2.PNG MadSkillz1o1 19:15, 28 February 2010 (UTC)
great. how much do you or you friend offer for that one? i remember my friend buying an Axe Grip of Trollslaying for 50k back then to farm them, when Droks was the trading center and +30 health for sword was worth about 70k :D i guess i can call myself lucky if i get a tithe of that price^^ —ZerphatalkThe Improver 15:08, 1 March 2010 (UTC)
Not only would you be called lucky but the seller would be called insane. These days species slaying grips go for 4k, but I've bought most of them for like, 3k. I'd pay up to 5k though :) User MadSkillz1o1 sig2.PNG MadSkillz1o1 21:33, 1 March 2010 (UTC)
alright let's make it 4k then ok? —ZerphatalkThe Improver 15:19, 2 March 2010 (UTC)

Not to be Super Evil man but your Sig must be 19px, not 20px :P --Neil2250 , Render Lord User Neil2250 sig icon5.jpg 15:21, 6 April 2010 (UTC)

Oh, hey MadSkillz, it's Neil here, how are you doing ? I saw that you needed to do a few dungeons, maybe I can jump in ? I bet that would be really fun :D. P.S.: The picture in your signature should be 19px, not 20 ;) Catch you later!

User MadSkillz1o1 sig2.PNG MadSkillz1o1 17:54, 6 April 2010 (UTC)

Thats Confusing, because i didnt say a word of it apart from the top line =_= --Neil2250 , Render Lord User Neil2250 sig icon6.png 21:09, 22 April 2010 (UTC)

Tips for making money

Hi ive seen that u got a lot of elite armor and weapons stuff so i was wondering how do u make that money so fast? plus i kinda went beserk and deleted all my characters >.> and i can't think of a name for my new ranger! xD please reply as soon as u can :) --78.150.37.100 10:39, 14 August 2011 (UTC)

Sorry it took so long to respond, haven't visited my page in a long time. To get some money you first have to have some starting capital. Pick up every drop, identify everything, sell things. To have a nice cash flow you could also follow Nicholas the Traveler, buy the items from players for whatever price they put up, trade in the gifts, then sell the gifts for three times the money you spent on them. This might not work anymore, I used to do it for a nice 10k every week I think. The bulk of my money has probably come from running the Elona Reach mission, but that's not viable anymore (I don't hate running because it's a service). I also made a lot of money buying chocolate bunnies in Pre Searing for as little as 20g each, then selling them for 200g each. I got a few hundred thousand gold in post searing money that way.

General tips: Never open any kinds of gifts. Never sell dyes/runes at general merchant. Salvage items that have a moderate worth. Use a perfect salvage kit to salvage the highly salvageable inscription and put it on something that has a high chance of a rare material. You can get something like 20 steel ingots... When the money starts flowing you can start trading, but that's boring and I don't think it works like it used to. Hope it helps. Also, try the GW2 name generator for ideas :)[1] User MadSkillz1o1 sig2.PNG MadSkillz1o1 08:17, 18 October 2011 (UTC)

Playing

Do you still play Guild Wars? Because I added you and you never seem to be online.

I came online to finish new content, but now I'm done with that so I'll probably be offline again. Try to message me here when the third chapter of Winds of Change comes. Did you want to do anything important ? User MadSkillz1o1 sig2.PNG MadSkillz1o1 08:17, 18 October 2011 (UTC)
