We were sad when we realized we left poor Charlie out of the original batch of April Fools' notes. We seethed at the missed opportunities: tiger blood, warlocks, and winning, OH MY! 9 June updates

Thank you, as always, for taking time to post notes on various software updates.

If you are allowed, could you also shed some light as to why there was less of a heads-up than typical for a maintenance build? I'm used to seeing a few days notice, a login announcement, and several in-game reminders warning people to sign out. In this case, those of us who don't follow Twitter (or visit the official site daily) were taken by surprise.
