[edit] Heads Up

In PvP, nothing changed, except Visions of Regret got buffed and Wastrel's Worry doesn't combo with it anymore. ~Shard Image:User Shard Sig Icon.png 02:34, 12 September 2009 (UTC)

Sad news. Well, I'll take some time to catch up on the rest of the meta. Thanks mate. -- NUKLEAR IIV 13:05, 12 September 2009 (UTC)

FYI, original PvP version of Aegis could be used on the ghostly. See my userpage. -- Armond WarbladeImage:User Armond sig image.png{{Bacon}} 21:25, 18 September 2009 (UTC)

Well they nerfed escape, but linsey is full of crazy ideas (like fixing whole areas to keep SF alive,Nerfing all of MB bar but MB,...) Lilondra *poke* 11:19, 20 September 2009 (UTC)
Escape had it coming for a while, though I'm a little surprised to see that SF is still strong. -- NUKLEAR IIV 13:57, 22 September 2009 (UTC)

[edit] How awesome it would be

If anet created a seperate server with a fraction of the current one's capacity and dedicate it entirely for a version of GW that is only 6 months old? -- NUKLEAR IIV 19:45, 26 September 2009 (UTC)

But it would still be ANet running the server. Vili 点 User talk:Vili 23:06, 26 September 2009 (UTC)
^ I chuckl'd. That would be bad-ass. —Jette 00:45, 27 September 2009 (UTC)

NUKLEAR
WUB

I want this.

IT DOESN'T FIT IN THE BOX FFS -- NUKLEAR IIV 16:15, 9 October 2009 (UTC)

VII 16:52, 9 October 2009 (UTC)
You can only use one image, and I think the wub image makes the images as a whole above 19px lengthwise. -- pling 22:01, 9 October 2009 (UTC)
But it doesn't disturb the spacing. And it's not even two seperate images, they overlap. WUBLEAR
VII 22:06, 9 October 2009 (UTC)
You're pretty clearly using two separate files in your signature. One of them is also not unique in name for yourself. Also, I'd call the code overly long. Overall, not a good signature. -- pling 22:19, 9 October 2009 (UTC)
I can upload the wub file as a seperate one, the code can be shortened, and come on - follow the spirit of the policy, please? What's the harm in having two overlapping image files that look exactly the same without disturbing the text flow? WUBLEAR
VII 22:21, 9 October 2009 (UTC)
Editing your main signature image and adding the wub in the file itself would solve each problem nicely - you'd be using one (correctly named) file, and you wouldn't need to use all those long divs. -- pling 22:24, 9 October 2009 (UTC)
But that would hurt spacing. I bet I can get it under 3 lines with some toying. WUBLEAR
VII 22:25, 9 October 2009 (UTC)
Why can't you then just make the length of your normal image slightly shorter and move the wub image up a bit? -- pling 22:27, 9 October 2009 (UTC)
Then it's not wubly. Just gimme 15 minutes, I'll fix the length and naming issues. WUBLEAR
VII 22:28, 9 October 2009 (UTC)
Fixed. Happy? WubVII
22:36, 9 October 2009 (UTC)
It's better, but I'm not sure why you're still using two images. -- pling 23:20, 9 October 2009 (UTC)
Because I can't get the effect I want with a single image. It doesn't distrupt spacing, isn't bigger than 19 pixels, and doesn't distract the reader. The only clause it violates is the two image limit, which is designed to avoid such issues. I mean, I guess you could wiki-lawyer and say that it breaks policy, but it does obey the spirit. WubVII
23:24, 9 October 2009 (UTC)
That, and it's wubly. WubVII

[edit] Kettle

One of the most important thing a man can own - the kettle. You press a button, and tea comes out.

Fucking magic. I want to try boiling milk and 3 pound of dark chocolate in an electric one for the lulz. -- NUKLEAR IIV 18:04, 5 October 2009 (UTC)

I hope you're prepared to replace it. (i.e. I strongly recommend against trying that, considering the mess that makes in a real kettle) Vili 点 User talk:Vili 19:48, 5 October 2009 (UTC)
In a world where people microwave live ammo, what is another kettle? -- NUKLEAR IIV 19:49, 5 October 2009 (UTC)
Also, that would be delicious mess, esp. with marshmallows and peanut butter. -- NUKLEAR IIV 19:50, 5 October 2009 (UTC)
True enough, as long as you don't end up burning the milk. Vili 点 User talk:Vili 19:51, 5 October 2009 (UTC)
>microwave live ammo
wat. Brb, trying this at home. —Jette 03:29, 6 October 2009 (UTC)
Be king enough to make a video and post on Youtube. -- NUKLEAR IIV 17:34, 6 October 2009 (UTC)
As amusing as that would be, I don't have a video camera. —Jette 17:36, 6 October 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Question

What is the most exploitable, most broken PvE build there is? I can name quite a few, but I'd appreciate an all powerful one. WUBLEAR
VII 18:54, 9 October 2009 (UTC)
shadow form lol –Jette
19:01, 9 October 2009 (UTC)
Or maybe discordway. Discordway is pretty gay, but you need 8 people to kill everything instead of 1. –Jette
19:01, 9 October 2009 (UTC)
PvX link pls. WUBLEAR
VII 19:03, 9 October 2009 (UTC)
derp, Shadow Form. Discordway is pretty lame, but at least it is possible to die if you're doinitrong, and it's open to all (player) professions. I think discord should just deal cold damage so it'd be pretty weak in hard mode, but they'd probably find a new gimmick anyway... –Jette

[edit] Sig

No. Fix it. - Tanetris 04:15, 10 October 2009 (UTC)

You seem to have missed this post by Tanetris. So I'll bring it up in case you missed it. Please fix your signature before continuing to edit:
  • "When customizing your signature, please keep the following in mind: A distracting, confusing, or otherwise unsuitable signature may adversely affect other users. Some editors may find them disruptive to discourse on talk pages. Very long signatures that contain a lot of code ("markup") make it difficult for some editors to read while editing talk pages".
  • "The presence of long signatures disrupts the reading of comments when an editor is formulating a response. A 200-character signature, for instance, is already longer than many comments", your is ~332 characters long.
  • "Signatures that take up more than two or three lines in the edit window unnecessarily clutter the edit window and make it more difficult to distinguish meaningful comments from the signatures", yours takes up 3-4 lines.
  • "A small image or icon may be included in your signature: The image used is constrained to a maximum size of 19x19 pixels, to avoid disrupting text spacing and readability (emphasis added)", yours contains two images.
  • "The image used must redirect to either your user page or your talk page", yours doesn't.
  • "If you see a disruptive signature and would like to ask that user to change it, please remember to be polite". Have a nice day. ~Celestia 13:36, 10 October 2009 (UTC)
It's three lines long, the images are not distruptive, and I'm not the only onw ith just one image, but I just read that it breaks pages in Opera, so I guess that's that. WubVII
13:38, 10 October 2009 (UTC)
Good night sweet prince. NuVII 13:41, 10 October 2009 (UTC)
Update: it doesn't break pages in Opera (you liek my atrocious taste in Aero schemes?). –Jette 17:11, 19 October 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Could someone

Please talk to Barthory?. I hate to ask this, but if I confront him I'll just go ballistic. NuVII 19:45, 10 October 2009 (UTC)

I could try it, I'm completely neutral and polite all the time to everyone. What'd he do? –Jette 20:19, 10 October 2009 (UTC)

[edit] I also

would like to point out the fact that nobody would badmouth a close friend like that, and try to cut off relations just because a close friend causing said person is drawing flak. It only goes to show that the "close friend" doesn't matter, or doesn't exist in the first place and thus doesn't matter in the bigger picture.

Assuming said "close friend" still exists, the relation is definitely not "close" enough, which raises questionable doubt about why would a person not close to you "give permission" to allow you to use their name/nick etc for your own personal uses, and go to the extra effort to create an account on wiki just simply to nominate you to for admin.
