Screenies

Hi, please consider not uploading all the fankit screenies unless needed, or if you are going to upload them - please rename them intuitively :) Fox 07:40, 1 April 2007 (EDT)

I'm gonna make a gallery of them and then I'll take the ones that relate to their appropriate pages and link them up. --Santax 07:42, 1 April 2007 (EDT)

Signet of Capture

Hi Santax, I noticed that User:77.98.24.142 replaced the existing Signet of Capture with their own text, here is the diff. Are you 77.98.24.142 and if so did you write the text yourself or copy it from another source? LordBiro 12:46, 2 April 2007 (EDT)

Yeah, I am that IP, and it's from the manual. --Santax 04:26, 3 April 2007 (EDT)
Ok, I'm going to revert it back to the previous version. The reason for this is that it doesn't read very well (for example, it contains this text: "Killing a boss improves your character’s morale, a concept we’ll address in the next chapter."). The content by various authors may not have been perfect but it did not merit a replacement. Not to mention copying this article from the manual means that we cannot release it under the GFDL as it belongs to ArenaNet. LordBiro 05:39, 3 April 2007 (EDT)

Shiro'ken Elementalist

Dear Santax, You edited/made the page 'Shiro'ken Elementalist'. with the following sentence: "A Shiro'ken Mesmer is a spirit of a great Elementalist hero from the history of Cantha, captured and bound to the body of a Saltspray Dragon by Shiro Tagachi. " Shouldn't it be:" A Shiro'ken Elementalist"? Moon 05:26, 3 April 2007 (EDT)

Oh yeah, sorry about that... thanks for letting me know ^_^ --Santax 05:29, 3 April 2007 (EDT)
No Problem-_^--Moon 05:46, 3 April 2007 (EDT)

so?

so you like stuff? -- Wings 11:06, 5 April 2007 (EDT)

Listen. You cannot just blank a talk page for no reason, not even your own. It's against policy and common wikiquette. If you don't like it, then make a note on the appropriate policy talk page and try to get it changed. I'm going to revert your edit one final time, and if you still refuse to cooperate, then any discipline that you recieve from the admins is your own fault. --Santax 11:10, 5 April 2007 (EDT)
gem said i could, but you should rather archive it -- Wings 11:14, 5 April 2007 (EDT)
I'm not 100% sure, but I think we don't have any policy that prevents blanking your talk page. -- Gem (gem / talk) 11:16, 5 April 2007 (EDT)
I just checked, it looks like we do. --Santax 11:19, 5 April 2007 (EDT)
i didnt want a talk page and still dont, so leave it blank plz, and i am not on this wiki much to have 1, just for some unexplanable reason i have to be for a couple of days -- Wings 11:20, 5 April 2007 (EDT)
As it seems that we actually have a policy, I'll have to ask you not to remove anything later on. -- Gem (gem / talk) 11:24, 5 April 2007 (EDT)
(EDIT CONFLICT, but it's similar to what Gem said)
Santax is correct, blanking your talk page is forbidden. Whether you want one or not is not your decision. I'm willing to make an exception for the revert war that just went on (if Gem and Santax are willing to forget about it as well), but if any other comments are added to your talk page and you blank it then I will take action. LordBiro 11:25, 5 April 2007 (EDT)
can we not re add those comments not one cares, and just start from now? -- Wings 11:26, 5 April 2007 (EDT)
I don't care if they are re-added or not. Actually, as half of the discussion is really in your edit notes, it would be difficult to put hte discussion to the talk page. -- Gem (gem / talk) 11:28, 5 April 2007 (EDT)
I'm willing to leave it this time so as not to be a drama llama, as long as the page isn't deleted altogether so the history can be kept and any further comments aren't removed. --Santax 11:30, 5 April 2007 (EDT)
ok -- Wings 11:30, 5 April 2007 (EDT)
argh damb i wanted it deleted damb -- Wings 11:31, 5 April 2007 (EDT)

Surrow

Hey Santax, it seems possible that there may have been an error in the transcription and so I have removed references to Surrow for the time being, as unsubstantiated information is not allowed on the wiki. If a number of independent sites confirm that Surrow is definitely going to be another playable race then by all means add these references back. LordBiro 07:49, 7 April 2007 (EDT)

It looked to me like something that he wasn't supposed to have said... it has recieved no other mention and they have stated that the remaining races will be announced at a later date which leads me to believe that if it is a playable race, we won't be hearing about it for a while. It has been said to be a playable race by an ArenaNet member of staff, mind. But to avoid a revert war, I'll leave it up to your judgement whether you want to include it in the article or not. --Santax (talk · contribs)08:22, 7 April 2007 (EDT)
Well, come people have suggested that, in the context it was in, the person speaking may have actually said "if you are playing as a human, asura, or charr" and not "if you are playing as a human, a surrow or charr", or something like that, that's just off the top of my head :) The discussion was at Talk:Guild Wars 2.
