Many appear to be the effects of dropped bundles, so the real question I suppose is should they be added to the Wiki? | ThatSounds Risky | 11:49, 20 April 2008 (UTC)

Wow, great work Risky! :D I think that's actually a good idea. We could create those "bundle effect"-skill pages and add a link to them at the corresponding bundle page. —ZerphatalkThe Improver 17:45, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
What i don't get is: Why do some of those skills have a special icon despite the fact that none of these skills can be seen by players? Do you think we should give these skills a new type then? (Desipte actually only be stated as "skill") Or would you prefer a category for them instead? Or both? —ZerphatalkThe Improver 17:48, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
I would say if they're listed as a specific skill type they should probably just be included in that category. I did actually add both Maddened Stance and Skin of Stone already and just used the Template:Effect infobox, which would probably be the way to go for anything that isn't given a specific skill type. | ThatSounds Risky | 02:37, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

Skill #33[edit]

Do you think that Skill #33 might possibly be the Chinese icon for Necrosis? Look here for the comparison: Necrosis.jpg User Michael the Perfectionist Unused Skill Icon 33.PNG --Michael the Perfectionist User-Michael the Perfectionist Signature.gif 01:39, 28 April 2008 (UTC)

well observed, that could possibly be the case. :) —ZerphatalkThe Improver 17:42, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
Adding to the list, but remember you can add your own theories as well. | ThatSounds Risky | 02:37, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
Oh, I didn't know that it was okay to freely add to the page (I got in trouble for doing that once). Thanks. :) --Michael the Perfectionist User-Michael the Perfectionist Signature.gif 22:14, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

Skill #38[edit]

Could #38 be a possible Chinese version of Hexer's Vigor? Heres a line up for the skills Hexer's Vigor.jpgFile:User Treesbyty Unused Skill Icon 38.PNG Treesbyty 18:17, 27 May 2008 (UTC)

Err... Can't seem to get it up. They seem to be the same guy. Treesbyty 18:19, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
Well, their expressions appear equal, though idk why they should use another icon for Hexer's Vigor, as the regular one doesn't show any bones. —ZerphatalkThe Improver 18:25, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
Hexer's Vigor was my initial thought on that as well with the head in the original image potentially a skull, though its difficult to tell from the small image. I'd also point out that by the time of Eye of the North they probably would have known to avoid such imagery for the need to then make a second icon for the Chinese version. | ThatSounds Risky | 02:37, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

Skill #26[edit]

Could this possibly be Strip Enchantment? I know they're not completely similar, but they do look alike. Strip Enchantment.jpg User Michael the Perfectionist Unused Skill Icon 26.jpg --Michael the Perfectionist User-Michael the Perfectionist Signature.gif 18:19, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

Looks like a good match. | ThatSounds Risky | 02:37, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
I am just too good. ;) --Michael the Perfectionist User-Michael the Perfectionist Signature.gif 22:15, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

Why different chinese skill icons?[edit]

I'm just curious, as I haven't seen anything anywhere else yet about there being different icons for things in china. I notice that these are all 'clean' where most of the ones in the real skills involve rotting or bones or skulls or something. Is this another strange thing you can't show in china or is it a cultural non-offending attempt, anyone have any idea? Conversation links? :D The preceding unsigned comment was added by Star Weaver (talk • contribs) at 23:10, June 4, 2008 (UTC).

This gives a good example of the government regulations in place in China to "promote healthy and harmonious online gaming environment". This also confirms some of the different icons being used. | ThatSounds Risky | 00:13, 5 June 2008 (UTC)

#17 and #57[edit]

Maybe Blood is Power and Soul Twisting, respsctively? Just a thought....~User Wandering Traveler Oie User Wandering Traveler Sig2.png Wandering Traveler 23:19, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

Added, but you are also free to edit the page itself. | ThatSounds Risky | 00:13, 5 June 2008 (UTC)

Empathy 2[edit]

User That Sounds Risky Empathy2.jpg
There seems to be a second Empathy that uses a different, unique icon. It appears to have the same functionality as the player Empathy Empathy, but it instead lasts longer and does less damage. The first sets of numbers are Domination Magic set at 0 while the second set are set at 15. That Sounds Risky | 10:24, 13 July 2008 (UTC)

oh, i forgot about that, but i can also remember this version of empathy when using cheat engine some time ago. —ZerphatalkThe Improver 13:03, 13 July 2008 (UTC)

Sources of Confirmation[edit]

How are you going to figure out whether the Chinese icons are correct? And why did they change certain skills which didn't even have a skeleton or something similar? 24.190.27.113 21:22, 15 July 2008 (UTC)

For the Chinese icons only a Chinese player can confirm them. Everything here are guesses, except for 3 skills that where confirmed. As to why... go ask China. — Poki#3 My Talk Page :o 09:36, 16 July 2008 (UTC)

Skill #4: Summoning Sickness?[edit]

I added it, yet it was likely intended to become a necromancer skill once. I didn't know how to put that nicely into this line, though. —ZerphatalkThe Improver 08:11, 6 September 2008 (UTC)

A Humble Request[edit]

Would it be possible to get all of these icons without the numbers in the corner? I'd love to use them for my various projects. If that's not possible or too difficult, it's alright. --Michael User-Michael the Perfectionist Signature.gif 04:45, 13 February 2009 (UTC)

It should be doable, I'd likely just upload them as a single image like the one that's up now though if that's alright. That Sounds Risky | 05:15, 13 February 2009 (UTC)

SI #41[edit]

Have a vague memory of seeing this ingame. Perhaps a Costume Brawl shrine skill? Backsword 05:24, 13 February 2009 (UTC)

I thought it might have come from the map Bombardment with the Siege Cannon Shrine, though when I observed some matches there I couldn't find anything. That Sounds Risky | 06:59, 13 February 2009 (UTC)
Seems you were right. I'll fix the game integration. Backsword 06:25, 15 February 2009 (UTC)

#53[edit]

Looks like bloodsong without the "song" →Darklɘs McChaosmongɘr 02:51, 23 February 2009 (UTC)

# 71[edit]

Anyone else notice that Icon 71 looks like Kryten from RD? lol - Stimpson J Kat 19:43, 29 June 2010 (UTC)

Skill #34 and Monster Skill #18[edit]

To me Skill #34 looks a lot like Tainted Flesh, and the Monster Skill #18 reminds me of the Ranger skill Pestilence, or perhaps another Nature Ritual 77.213.235.141 21:57, 28 June 2011 (UTC)
