A mountainous area riddled with passes lies along the northwestern border of Vabbi. This area is collectively known as the Vehjin Mines, named for the mining activity that centers in the southeastern portion of this area. A small unnamed village can be found nestled along one of the higher passes towards the north.

This area lies outside the northwestern exit of Jennur's Horde. If your character has not gone to Jennur's Horde but has already reached the Desolation, it can also be reached via Basalt Grotto, on the northeastern corner of Joko's Domain.

• When the Master of Whispers is in the party, several mobs near the exit of Basalt Grotto will not spawn. The reason for this is not known.
• These quests affect the spawns in this area:

  • To the Rescue
• Vanquisher runs of this area without active quests yielded roughly 180 foes or so.
• Complete exploration of this area will yield about 2.3% to the Elonian Cartographer title track.
