Vengeful Aatxes are invulnerable beasts that appear as part of the Unwanted Guests quest in the Underworld. They are a variant of Bladed Aatxes, but do not cause as much damage. Due to them being invulnerable, they cannot be targeted with any skills. They do trigger traps as normal and will be affected by conditions caused by those traps, but they will not take any damage from the traps. They can however be killed by life stealing by skills such as Vengeful Was Khanhei and Vengeful Weapon.

The easiest way to destroy Vengeful Aatxes is to slay the Keeper of Souls accompanying the group of Vengefuls. After the Keeper of Souls is slain, the group of Vengeful Aatxes (as well as Terrorweb Dryders) will immediately die.

Notes

• Vengeful Aatxes slain by killing their respective Keeper of Souls will not produce drops, but killing them through means of life stealing and non-damage sources will produce drops.

• In Basque mythology, an Aatxe ([a.atʃe], approximately, ah-che) is a cave-dwelling spirit that takes the form of a young bull.
