One of the War in Kryta quests, the objective of this quest is to kill the White Mantle boss Inquisitor Lashona.

Walkthrough

Follow the road from Lion's Arch to the Ascalon Settlement. Inquisitor Lashona is found talking to Captain Greywind. Once he is dead, you can map out or resign, as killing his minions is not part of the quest.

It is also possible (and easier) to travel from Bergen Hot Springs.

"Inquisitor Lashona is wanted for crimes against the Krytan people and the flagrant abuse of his authority. Lashona was last seen in North Kryta Province. Eliminate this menace and claim your bounty from Queen Salma."

 Accept: "I'll do whatever I can to help restore order to Kryta."

 Decline: "War! What is it good for?"

 Ask: "Justice must be done! Go kill Inquisitor Lashona in North Kryta Province."

Intermediate dialogue

Inquisitor Lashona: "In the name of the White Mantle, everyone in this settlement is now under arrest!"

Captain Greywind: "We've done nothing to deserve this! We've lived in peace with the Krytans for years!"

Captain Greywind: "Have you forgotten so soon? Your own Justiciar Hablion granted us this land."

Inquisitor Lashona: "I think it's you who is forgetting. Your countrymen gained his trust through lies and deceit, and were even welcomed as Knights of the White Mantle..."

Inquisitor Lashona: "Only to cut down our dear Hablion in cold blood, and murder the benevolent Confessor Dorian and his high council."

Inquisitor Lashona: "You Ascalonians have brought your own twisted sense of peace to our land, and I assure you that we will hold you accountable for those villainous actions! Peace...hah! What a travesty."

Inquisitor Lashona: "Commander, place these filthy refugees under arrest."

White Mantle Zealot: "My pleasure."

White Mantle Zealot: "Listen up, you Ascalonian trash. Drop your weapons and come with us. Now!"

<player name>: "Your fight is with us; leave these people in peace!"

Inquisitor Lashona: "You are all hereby sentenced to death for the crime of high treason. Men, leave no one alive!"

Notes

• Lashona will not spawn if Evil Residents (the Halloween quest) is active.

Anomaly.This quest cannot be combined with Merchant's Plea and only under certain circumstances with Defend North Kryta Province; Captain Greywind refuses to talk about shipment.

Bug.This quest was available again for some characters, after completion of the first two quests of the Thackeray's Missions in Hearts of the North campaign.

Bug.This quest refers to Salma as queen before she becomes queen.

Bug.Players who started the three required Wanted quests before the 19 November 2010 update might be forced to take the official umbrella quest, which is optional otherwise. If you are unable to move on to Riverside Assassination, speak to Murro in Lion's Arch and add The War in Kryta to your quest log.
