- Xunlai Tournament House contest during the end of the Winterfest Tournament 2006 season. The weapons were awarded to top-ranked players.
- At the end of a Wintersday finale from 2012 onwards. One random Wintergreen weapon will be placed in the character's inventory the first time an account attends a finale each year.

- This shield always has 8 armor rating. (This is the same armor rating as a 16 armor rating shield if your attributes do not match the requirements of the shield.)
- It is possible to destroy this shield when attempting to salvage upgrade components off of it.
