ArenaNet:Guild Wars 2 suggestions/Getting more perticipation in Guild(s)/ Guild Battles

     In Guild Wars 1 there is not much participation within Guilds. I knew a game once called Tribes 2 It was a game where people would form tribes and have battles with other tribes. They're were rivalrys and prizes. If you won your tribe was more respect and got more weapons. Over time though people didn't have tribe wars and the game fell apart. The same happened with Guilds.
     I think to promete Guilds we can change some things. How about if your Guild is very respected and has a high faction then they can purchase secret iteams or something. Maybe to promote Guild Battles the winners of the battle gets something added to their Guild Hall and the winners get a special weapon? Anything like that would make Guilds more perticiated instead of the Guilds doing nothing. Please think on it.
