More ways to wear your Guild Emblem (Discussion)

There should be more ways to wear your Guild Emblem in game;

  • A medallion
  • Shoulder markers
  • Tattoos
  • Arm/wrist bands
  • On armour
Why this is a good idea
  •  Some people don't like capes
  •  Additional customisation
  • Wearing your guild emblem in style
  • Another excellent customization idea. One thing that players are always looking to do is create an original look for their character that sets them apart from the rest of the community. Among other ideas listed, this one will allow a player to retain his/her tributary marker that defines their allegiance yet still let them choose what kind of an image they want to portray. (Example: Innocent looking monk lady = necklace with guild medallion :: Hardcore warrior = Tats up and down his arms/on his neck :: Mysterious assassin = guild symbol emblazoned on his back :: Heroic crusader = devout cape-wearing fighter.) 98.224.9.119 07:27, 25 October 2008 (UTC) Please Anet, consider this.
  • Guilds can have events of showing off, making all members look like the guild emblem, which, if not abused, really is cool, just 4 short periods of time.
Why it may not work out
  •  In PvP visibility is an issue - perhaps force a visible alternative here?
  •  we will see many characters with the same emblem on armour, even if they are from diffrent guilds
