Exp goes where once you max lvl? 20

Well one thing from GW1 that i really do not like, is the fact that once iv hit lvl 20.. i dont really get any stronger, and i keep getting these skill points that i dont need because i already have the skills i need, i think you should be able to switch between giving exp points to skill or to maybe say tokens. Every time you level you get a token or something that you can use for items, or something really anything.. because being lvl 20 for 2 years and having 300 some skill points and some1 having just reached lvl 20 and having 100 skill points... we are really just as powerful as the other, and thats no fun. players need to be able to have a larger range of how much they can improve their characters performance.

Why this is a good idea

Players need to have a larger goal than to just reach 20 and then buy .."cooler looking gear" thats no fun, it gets boring quick.
