ArenaNet talk:Guild Wars 2 suggestions/MAP TRAVEL SUCK

Map travel stays. WoW is not only succesful because of the things they have in the game, it's because Blizzard already made many games before making WoW, so they already had many people who would buy it. If GW had this too (or if WoW didn't had this), GW could even have more people than WoW. Anyway, map travel doesn't suck, it allows everyone to be in a town they have been to in just a few seconds, while removing map travel would force you to spend time to return to a certain outpost to accept a small reward for a quest you finished, or force you to plan doing a mission with some friends because you can't map travel there, and everyone would need time to get there. It would be more like time spent>skills, and GW is all about skills>time spent. --Sir Bertrand 10:44, 28 June 2008 (UTC)

Why don't people think about what they're posting sometimes? The preceding unsigned comment was added by 79.67.51.255 (talk • contribs) at 13:29, 28 June 2008 (UTC).

To the OP: You are either trolling, or a moron. I submit the following as proof: Map travel is an optional feature. Taking into account all missions and other forms of travel, it is possible to reach any area in the game without so much as one map travel, by WALKING. It exists for people who don't feel like spending hours of their time wandering through the same areas. If you believe it improves your "role playing experience" (which, in GW, does not exist), then feel free. The rest of us will be teleporting. --Jette 08:45, 29 June 2008 (UTC)

Don't know why I'm bothering to comment, but I think that I saw somewhere that it has already been decided the map traveling will stay. Oh and btw, this is probably trolling like the delete tag says. User The Cabal Sig pic 01.png The Cabal Stalk me! 14:00, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
