Feedback:User/Ceangal/"Roleplaying" tag for user interface

I would like to suggest including a "Roleplaying" tag (or "RP" or "R") preferably somewhere in the player's floating name, or, alternatively, in the character's bio, or page, if anything like that should come to fruition, that can be toggled with a simple "/rp on" command, or a check box in the character menu.

Dedicated roleplaying servers are a hassle from a development and moderator perspective, and having this simple, formal cue amongst the interspersed roleplaying community, similar to the one already active in Lord of the Rings Online, would be a remarkable boon to the otherwise scattered roleplaying community, and would be entirely unobtrusive to non-roleplayers. In addition, it would provide some amount of clarification to non-roleplayers as to whether or not the player in question is "In-Character" or not.

It might not be a perfect method, and of course one cannot expect all players wearing the "RP" tag to necessarily be in-characer at all times, but it at least provides an at-a-glance guide as to who is receptive to in-character interaction, rather than relying on tentative guessing and awkward PMs between the two players beforehand.

It may seem a somewhat random feature to be had in a game like this (true, it does seem much more appropriate in a game like LotRO, which inherently draws a roleplaying crowd), but with all the innovation and philosophy of approachability and player-friendliness that this game seems to thrive on, perhaps this would be a good game to debut this feature, which I personally believe should already be pretty standard-fare for MMOs.
