Feedback:User/SpiritSplit/Making Weapon/ Armor Upgrade Components Less of a Hassle to Obtain

Update: This feature request has been confirmed, to be possibly implemented or working on adding into the game.

My suggestion is for Guild Wars 2. I'm pretty sure Arena Net has already fixed this issue, but since I heard so little about it, I simply want to put my suggestion out there to play it safe.
  • In the previous version of Guild Wars, when it came to weapon upgrades; you could add a prefix and suffix upgrade component, plus a inscription. My issue is with how much of a pain in the tail it is to get the prefix and suffix upgrade components you actually want to see your characters with.
  • For instance: I have a simple rare Charr Sword (good looking weapon skin by the way). It's already customized to me with no upgrades. I'm trying to make this sword match the attributes of Cyndr's Edge. So to do this, I need the upgrade components that will make my Charr Sword read "Furious Charr Sword of Fortitude." So far, I've done this, but with out the "of Fortitude." Why? Because the +30 Health Sword Pummel of Fortitude is only acquireable from enemy drops! AAHHH! Now lets play for hours on end waiting for this specific upgrade component to drop... You want to talk about grind!
  • I'd like to see players in Guild Wars 2 gather upgrade componet's in different way's besides just enemy drops. You can get a lot of skill's, Insignia's & inscriptions from merchant NPC's, so why not upgrade component's? I don't care if you charge me an arm and a leg (please don't), as long as it's in clear site!
Again, I'm pretty sure you already fixed this pet peeve of mine, but I want to put it out there, just to play it safe. So that's it,
Thanks,
