Was it intentional for Iron Mist to go from +40 to 10?

10 Energy2 Activation time20 Recharge time Hex Spell. For 2..12 seconds, target foe moves 66% slower, but has +40..10 armor against physical damage.

Yep, that's intentional. The snare is strong enough to merit some 'downside', similar to Calculated Risk, but the downside becomes less so with a stronger investment. Besides, Iron Mist is kinda ridiculous, giving immunity to everything but lightning.--Skye Marin 23:25, 14 March 2010 (UTC)

I've looked at the discussion page for this skill and I agree that it could make for a decent gimmick spike build, but it just seems like the devs thought Iron Mist would be too OP if they didn't throw in some type of obscurity to "balance" it. No matter how one tries to "fix" this skill, it still leaves me with a "WTF?" Ravencroft0 06:42, 15 March 2010 (UTC)

I understand how you want to change Stone Sheath into a 'conjure earth', but it would be preferable to turn it into something for an Elementalist instead of something mostly aimed at secondaries. 145.94.74.23 09:22, 3 June 2010 (UTC)
