If they had THIS for male paragons I would make a male paragon. --Life Infusion «T» 20:51, 4 September 2010 (UTC)

Seriously...[edit]

Why do all the male paragons have to run around half-naked? Why did an artist whose specialty is homoerotic fanfiction design all of them except Norn? They couldn't make one decent fully-clothed set like this? Even a set half as cool as this would be better than any other Paragon armor. This looks bad ass! :( 108.217.137.61 15:41, 28 February 2014 (UTC)

Paragon armour seems to be inspired by angels, with a mix of war generals/commanders. Most armour was designed around the angel wings paragon skills conjure, changing the impressions of the armour sets as a whole. That said, certain sets are still masculine, such as Elonian, Norn, and Obsidian. The main reason why paragons come across as flamboyant is due to their character designs. Most faces and hair styles can be off-putting to players preferring to operate a character that radiates masculinity.
Fully-clothed armour on paragons makes almost no sense, though. Elona is quite a hot continent in Tyria, featuring mostly deserts and dry land. A war leader in these conditions needs to balance a mix between protection and lightness, thus resulting in revealing armour sets. While some sets are indeed more homo-erotically designed than others (Sunspear, Elite Sunspear, and mainly the Winged Raiment spring to mind), the profession's armoury is only as homoerotic as you consider it and the design of your character. - Infinite - talk 16:10, 28 February 2014 (UTC)
