Slight problem here![edit]

Whoops...I pressed revert so the image would revert to the version with a gold border, but it's still with a black one...could someone fix it ? --Torins 14:36, 1 April 2007 (EDT)

The version you reverted from DID have a yellow border... as did the version before that... and the version before that, presumably lol. For some reason, they ain't working :S See Talk:Lightning Surge Fox 14:39, 1 April 2007 (EDT)
Stupid question, but can that be caused by a 'read only' tag on the picture, that would prevent it being overwritten by a new version? (That's what i think, because the now 2nd last version returns a gold border, and it didn't before the rev) --Torins 14:43, 1 April 2007 (EDT)
This issue has arisen before. If you are unsure whether the image at present has a gold border, I recommend re-uploading it and leaving it for 24 hours. I believe it may be a server-side caching issue, where the image has been replaced on the fileserver, but the cached copy has not been purged. LordBiro 14:51, 1 April 2007 (EDT)
Cheers; it currently has a gold border according to my files lol. I'll check back later :) Fox 14:54, 1 April 2007 (EDT)
Black according to my browser, and i did purge my cache. Anyway, will wait till tommorow... --Torins 14:57, 1 April 2007 (EDT)

My apologies....accidentally clicked revert. Hopefully this didn't mess up anything...seems to be the same however, not sure what's wrong with the border. Windtalker 15:01, 1 April 2007 (EDT)

After reverting BACK to the correct image, I did a ctrl+refresh or w/e, and now the image is correct for me. Possibly try this. Windtalker 15:04, 1 April 2007 (EDT)
I did a clear cache now, and it's the yellow-border image for me too - Anja Astor 15:22, 1 April 2007 (EDT)
As LordBiro thought, it was a server caching issue; browser cache purges made no difference. I don't know which version is currently showing, but mine went back to gold quite a while back Fox 15:25, 1 April 2007 (EDT)
I rather think it was a big revert and reupload "war".. look at the history of the poor image. :P And then that may have messed up both browser and server cache also, but I don't think that was the main issue. - Anja Astor 15:33, 1 April 2007 (EDT)

Umm, sorry =( I didn't want to cause such an uproar and problem over a single image... Just wanted to help... this wasn't a good first impression... :( --Torins 15:38, 1 April 2007 (EDT)

Hey, it's not your fault, it's wiki messing with us so we can't see what other ppl have done and being slow on clearing cache etc. No worries! :) - Anja Astor 15:53, 1 April 2007 (EDT)
