- ? Microsoft says you can use them. Fairuse does not equal the content being released under the gfdl. You don't need to have Anet allowing fairuse. Fairuse is allowed by near universal copyright laws. --Aspectacle 05:19, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

Previous Discussion[edit]
The issue of Windows screenshots and licensing issues thereof has been discussed before. Namely, it resulted in Guild Wars Wiki:Copyrighted_content/Draft_070809. However, that draft was never passed, mainly due to the issue that licensing requirements are up to ArenaNet, and not something we can legislate on-wiki (as explained at Guild Wars Wiki talk:Fair_Use#Note). Further discussion on the topic is available here. The net conclusion so far, and the previously followed policy, was that we cannot allow such images on the wiki.
On a side note, please don't double-tag images, the copyvio template is enough; the delete template is redundant.
