This guild has been running for over three years, has been going in and out of activity and is currently focused on PvE. We plan to bring more life into it by recruiting couple of friendly and active people, increase our PvP activities and many more. The Guides of Ascalon guild was founded by a group of Real Life friends but has expanded considerably since then. We're proud having members of different nationalities and trying to bring a friendly multinational group together. We usually speak english, but some of our members understand hungarian, french and dutch. We do not use many sms type abbreviations, especially because most of us are not native-english speakers.
The main goal of the guild is to help new Guild Wars players finding their way in this game. We try to guide them with information and answering their questions, because we believe that on the long run we help most if we explain how to get things done instead of donating them money and items.
Please note that after three years of leadership by Lucy Nightglow, the leadership was recently transfered to Eve Ribodi, previously officer of GOA. We thanks Lucy for her contribution and wish her a lot of success with her further adventures.
Recruitment
To join you must be active, intelligent, friendly and must like small guilds. We are not a guild which you must be on every day so don't feel pressured into playing, but we prefer to have active members. We also prefer mature members, but we are absolutely not exclusive of younger ones.

Offline/Online Pattern
Here is a list of people who are going to be offline or have written down their online patterns.
Eve Ribodi is usually present in the game at least 3 times/week, in the evening during the week and on week-ends in the morning/evening. This pattern will not be respected in november, due to the nanowrimo challenge (writing a draft of novel in 30 days).
