We're a tight knit, helpful bunch. We can't do everything, but we always aim to be able to help anywhere with anything. We have officers who have completed all campaigns and expansions, though each has their own strengths. All officers are Protector of ~Someplace~.

LoGW was inherited. Our old guild leader kicked all the members except our current leader, 2 of our current officers and one other person who almost never played. The non-player was made leader. After 2 months and no logging on, Guild Wars auto-promoted the officer who had been in the guild the longest to guild leader. We began the slow process of rebuilding. Legends Of Guild Wars is still a shadow of it's former, glorious self. It's small, but cozy. We have a full hall (even the new NPCs, like the Festival Hat guy). Our members are friendly and helpful but also respectful of other's space. LoGW members know they will be left alone if that is what they desire. We make no demands of each other. But there is always someone who can help you if you ever need it.

Our officers all have their own strengths. One believes the true path to happiness lies in capping every elite, and has made substantial progress towards those ends. Another believes that there is power and prestige in being Protector, and works tirelessly towards those titles. Yet another believes in the supremacy of the ranger and his pets, spreading the wisdom of doubled party size to all who will listen. Still another officer takes pride in knowing (or knowing where to find) the answer, the collectors items or the materials.

LoGW is a place to call home for all lucky enough to wear the cape. We all have our own goals and experiences. Lucky for us, we have friends. Most of our members resided on the east coast of the U.S., though we have west coast members as well. Having a largely common time zone, we have regularly scheduled guild play, making progress in one campaign or other as a guild, though participation is not required.

We really don't PvP much, as a guild or individually. A few of us have tried and enjoy the occasional AB or HA battle but we are far from note-worthy in those aspects of the game. Our members do as they please, and if PvP is their fancy we wish them luck. We don't push getting faction on anyone and we don't intend to change that policy. This is supposed to be a game, after all, and once it stops being fun and starts being about meeting a faction quota it's not a game anymore.

LoGW firmly beleives that life happens. (I know, weird concept) We don't kick people just because it's been 10 days since they last logged on. Stuff happens. People get sick. Vacations are planned. Live people want the pleasure of your company. In the "really, it's just a game people" vein, you shouldn't have to worry that you're going to get kicked from a guild because your parents have demanded you come see them, or your other half is in the hospital, or your girlfriend insists you see her before she forgets what you look like. The game will be here when you get back, and so will LoGW.

Stay Legendary!

Alliance Info

LoGW is a member of the Krimzon Knightz Alliance. Krimzon Knightz is a small, Kurzick, PvE based alliance with rarely more than 20k faction. We help out, share treats (ala drunkard, sweet tooth and party animal) and occasionally party like rock stars. Notable past events include games, prizes and fireworks in LA on July 4th and New Years Eve, all open to the public. It was fun losing 25k in ales at rock-paper-scissors. Really.  :-)

Recruitment

LoGW is a small, low key, largely PvE guild. Our members are mostly adults, 30+, though we do allow younger, mature people to join. LoGW doesn't actively recruit by spam in town. Most members asked to join after playing with us a few times.

Contact information

This is not intended to recruit. If you're guild shopping, stand in any town long enough and someone will try to recruit you.
