Rush Backstab Disconnect is one of the oldest french guilds, created in October 2004 in the first Guild Wars beta events. It started as a small guild and its leader was Ba Lou.
When Guild Wars went gold, the guild got a new leader, Ryuusa Baku, and recruited up to 25 members. At this time the guild had a strong PvE/GvG activity. Unfortunately, the guild forum and many member accounts were hacked in summer 2005. After that, the guild struggled to survive because many member left and many never returned from the hack.
In spring 2009 the guild was revived by Antar Zumakatchai and many former RBD members. Rush Backstab Disconnect now lives as a small, friendly, website-less guild.
