THOR is mainly a PvE Guild, but we use our PvE skills to outfit PvP players and teams in AB, Team Arena, HoH, and the occassional GvG.
Founded by a childhood friend and officer in the guild, Lord Tarr, I didnt even play Guild wars when this Guild was created. It was named after an AD&D character from our childhoods. It was such an honor to find out that 6 months before I started playing, this guild was waiting for our group of childhood friends to find a new way to spend time togther.
Now, the guild has grown to the max 100 players with several alliance guilds, and then became smaller as guilds broke off to join an all THOR alliance. From our max at 100 players and 9 alliance guilds, we have found a more comfortable size that will be easily sustainable for the remander of the game.
New players are welcome, and we try to keep a guys/girls ratio. As the guild leader I have been playing online games for a long time, and the all guy or all girl guilds seem to be more out of control and less friendly. With a balance, everyone seems to stay happy and helpful.
Recruitment
Recruiting active helpful members. We have a large contingent of female players, so respect for girl gamers is a must.
We have only 2 rules. 1. Respect the Lady THOR (the girls) 2. Be helpful and have fun
