The Knights of Valis is a guild created by Lojor Carde in October of 2005. KoV was founded on the basis of helping others, not putting them down. Most KoV members are PvE oriented, however many of them enjoy PvP and are more than willing to engage in alliance battles, random arenas, and team arenas.
Government
The Knights of Valis believe in teamwork and community decision making. Therefore, the guild has established a senior council made up of officers. The guild leader is considered to be a member of this council, and his word has no more weight than the weight of any other senior council member.
The Senior Council makes all decisions that affect the guild on a day to day basis. Their job is to lead the guild, make important decisions, and vote on promoting new officers. Any officer that is not a member of the Senior Council is considered to be a Junior Officer. Junior Officers settle conflicts between players, enforce guild regulations, and generally ensure that everyone is having a great time without ruining the fun for anyone else.
Everyone else is in the guild is considered to be a member. As part of the guild's philosophy, members have a very large say in guild decisions, and are expected to take an active role in the guild. Oftentimes before an important decision is made, the Senior Council will ask the opinions of members, and the outcome of the decision can be changed.

To be recruited by The Knights of Valis, one must contact an officer in game and pass a short interview.
