Greetings and Salutations! We of The Peacekeeping Committee are honored that you are reading our page here on wiki and will do our best to inform you of ourselves. We are a friendly guild that seeks to enjoy the world of Guild Wars. We know that everyone wants to enjoy the game as well, so our guild was founded with the best intentions: to keep the peace! This can and will be achieved through helping newer players with their way around when possible, and also to stop some rather nasty verbal abuse arguments to the best of our abilities. If you ever have any questions about the game, feel free to contact any of us in-game and we will try to help!

Recruitment

We are currently recruting members, and any player is welcome. It does not matter what level your characters are, nor how long you have been playing the game, only that you meet the following criteria:

  • Be willing to try to help out people whenever possible.
  • Know that when someone is being verbally harassed in-game, it is your duty to try to end the quarrel to the best of your abilities.
  • More to come...

Also, if for any reason you need to leave the guild, you can do so without fear of ever being harassed about it. We are a non-name-calling guild seeking to help, not to ruin enjoyment!

Contact information

If you are interested in joining up, or if you have any questions at all, feel free to contact me in-game by sending a PM to Stephen The Scythe, or by leaving a message on his talk page located here!

Rules & Regulations

In addidion to the official Terms and Conditions, there are some additional rules that you would be wise to heed.

  • Rule One: Do not intentionally harm (verbally of physically) another player.
  • Rule Two: No Begging. It is fine to ask for help, but excessively asking for stuff (Items, Money, Runs, etc.) will be considered begging.
  • Rule Three: If someone asks/tells you to stop doing something, then stop doing it (there may be exemptions from this rule, such as "stop healing yourself".)
  • Rule Four: Some activity. We are not asking you to be on every day, all that we ask is that you log on once in a while. The Guild Leader will generally not be very active during the week, but will be on during weekends. This rule will come into effect when a member is inactive for one month without a reason, and will result in automatic termination.

Breaking any of the rules will result in the following actions:

  • First Offence: This will be a verbal warning, telling you which of the rules you have broken, you generally only get one warning.
  • Second Offence: This will result in your membership with the guild being terminated.

Please Note: Depending on the severity of the offence, you may be kicked out without warning.
