This Guild was formed in August 2006 by Infused Cloth
The name Utopia refers to efforts to create a better or perhaps perfect society. I have been both a member and an officer in two guilds prior to deciding to create my own guild UTOPIA.
As the name suggests I’m hoping that this guild will strive to be perfect, to be a positive experience for all members. To achieve this I believe our guild needs to grow slowly with the number of Officers increasing proportionately with the over all size of the guild. I also firmly believe that a guild needs rules and guidelines that all including me should take notice of.
Being a member of UTOPIA should mean that you are given assistance when you need it, although you can only expect help when other players have time to help. Having dedicated Officers with specific roles to fulfil within UTOPIA should help guild business take place in a timely manner. Although some members will be very experienced, others will not be as much and when a member asks a question a polite and helpful response is expected. We should not make our fellow guild members feel stupid for asking a question or for help!
I believe that the most cruitial element of a sucessful guild is friendship and so I hope that UTIOIA will be the right enviroment for new and old friendships to thrive.
UTOPIA and UTOPIA II work as one mega guild sharing the same cape and tag [UTOP], although both have a guild hall this was only so that inter guild battles could take place. UTOPIA is the main guild hall as has all traders to reflect this and is used as a general meeting place. The UTOPIA forum is shared by all alliance guilds and members are encoraged to use it frequently by the introduction of competitions to win in-game items such as the Celestial Rat Mini Pet!
Recruitment
This guild is for 21+ years; however as this is a relatively new rule we do wtill have some younger members as of old. The guild environment is a mature, friendly and laid back one and we would look to recruite responsible and mature members who are laid back and friendly both in-game and in Alliance Chat.
