Disagree with deletion[edit]

Because it doesn't harm anyone, and I use it every time i look up the Dead Spoiler Dude. Anyways, we have Penis sword, so why not this? Vald [Citation Needed] User Valdimir newsigicon.png 01:54, 17 February 2012 (UTC)

I don't care too much for deletion, but with spoiler-related boss, I don't see this as being necessary. TBH, I'd like to delete that silly redirect as well, but that's a common moniker for the sword while this I've only seen used for wiki linking as to avoid a major spoiler to the plot (and that purpose, as said, has been replaced with spoiler-related boss), which is a rather silly reason to have a redirect in the first place, imo, as we do not hide Togo's death from Master Togo's page, or that Shiro returns to life in his page or that he's encountered in the Depths of Madness, or that Jalis and the dwarves turn to stone, etc. etc. - I honestly have no issue with removing these silly little spoiler-preventing redirects or alternative pages. But again, I'm not too firm with it. Konig/talk 13:31, 17 February 2012 (UTC)
I see people using this term from time to time (mostly old timers), so I disagree with deleting just b/c there are other more frequently-used synonyms. The term now has an existence separate from the utility of preventing people from learning about the death of a popular NPC. – Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 04:20, 18 February 2012 (UTC)
I don't see how it would prevent from learning about rurik's death, since it's documented on it's page. Speaking of wiki usefulness, a quick look at "what links here" shows that it has been replaced by the other redirect, and, who's ever going to type this instead of just Undead Prince Rurik? --User Kyx signature Skull.gifKyx 11:22, 18 February 2012 (UTC)
The person who is going to type this term is a newbie to GW who belongs to a guild filled with old timers who use the term. The newbie doesn't want to embarrass themselves by asking yet another newbie question. I admit, it's not going to happen that often. OTOH, as Hong noted in his edit summary, this particular redirect is unlikely to cause any harm, since it will not ruin predictive search for Dead Bows or Dead Threshers. – Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 18:55, 18 February 2012 (UTC)
