Talk:Droknar's Forge (explorable area)

This needs to be accessible from Drok's forge, I am seeing many people trying to get back in there to make their weapons.. Even myself. Halogod35 00:03, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

I think it will be accessible from Drok's in the future, surely they cant expect us to complete hells precipice just to get back there?202.124.127.38 01:08, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
You must complete Hell's Precipice if you want to get back in. They will never make it easy for any of us to get back into a place that is only accessible from beating the final mission. If you wanted to craft your armor, beat the mission. Decided on a unique? Beat the game. Charm a pet? Beat the game. — Sixshot 01:22, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

Umm question, I have always noticed that little area since the beginning of the game and always wondered if it was accesible, there even seemed to be a portal behind the gate that was blocking it. My question is this, people have gotten 100% tyrian cartographer titles, now that they have this little extra piece, will people have 101%? lol 65.34.193.183 00:35, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

Good question lol... Halogod35 00:47, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
This area used to be the spot for Team Arenas before they moved all the PvP stuff to the Battle Isles. However, this will do very little to cartography, even after one has attained Grandmaster. There is some room for margin of error so even if you were to scrape every edge and wall you can possibly walk to, you can reach 100% before you even get to this location. — Sixshot 01:22, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
1. I doubt it will be made re-accessible.
2. It is not possible to get past 100%. It stops.

While in the past there have not been ways to get in the post-campaign area, the level design team has modeled the levels differently after Prophecies. For example, in Factions, yes, it is impossible to get into the Divine Path without beating the last mission, but in effect, the last mission is split in 2-Going through the Palace and fighting Shiro. A similar mission design was incorporated with Nightfall-Gate of Madness, then fighting Abbadon. With Prophecies, the design should follow the same path if they want to incorporate this new area-split the mission into 2, with the first being the long and difficult trek through Hell's precipice, fighting off titans and other baddies, and then end the mission after you kill *SPOILERS* Rurik *END SPOILERS*. Then make a new mission where you just fight off the Lich, and this one takes you to the new endgame area. I assume it wouldn't be that hard to do, as the parts are already split by a cutscene, but then again I'm no designer, so I could be completely wrong. Even still, if they have time to make the new endgame area, npcs, new skins and new weapons, splitting this mission into two missions to follow the traditional style shouldn't be too hard, and would make this a hell of a lot easier (Just came back from 1 hour run through hell's precipice with shiny new Deldrimor Sword =D)-Warior Kronos User Warior Kronos Sig.jpg 01:32, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
Please put the "spoiler" sign in big, red, bold letters in the fututure...I'm a fast reader and before I spotted the Spoiler sign, you completely ruined the story for me. 84.68.200.252 18:11, 10 November 2008 (UTC)

Dialog discussions[edit]

I found the dialogs for the henchmen to be hilarious. I wonder how many players will notice the references. :) — Sixshot 01:22, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

I don't get where it's from... is this from a movie? → BROWNSPANK 02:12, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
It's mostly just references to earlier Prophecies stuff. My favorite part is the explanation for why Stefan disappears at THK. Ayumbhara 08:27, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
"Alesia: At least you didn't have to suffer through an embarassing talk about your performance. Mhenlo: Now, now, Alesia. I only mentioned we should work on your awareness and everything would be fine." -- laughed at that :) --Pling! \ Brains12 \ Talk 16:35, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
I figured Alesia's comments to be referring to Healbot Blues myself. It was still a LOL moment of dialogue for me. 75.146.48.190 19:44, 1 July 2008 (UTC)

Its pretty funny when you talk to Reyna the npc

In Stefan's, why does his quote on the wiki page direct to Kilroy? Or did I miss something? 72.226.188.13 22:09, 3 November 2008 (UTC)

Bones[edit]

Glint maybe??... King-User Kingofcats sig.jpg 03:55, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

Glints not dead...although she would make great steaks to go with deldrimor ale i bet:-)--Justice 06:00, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

Why would Glint be in the S-Shiverpeaks? It's already obvious she can talk to you using that Telepathy-circle-thingy.

--Arduinna talk 11:22, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

Yea glint resides in a single grain of sand in the crystal desert last time I checked. Could be wrong. 75.183.125.212 15:57, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

Maybe its one of those Giants whos bones you can also find in the Crystal Desert. Treesbyty 11:36, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

Small Editing[edit]

I wasnt logged in or whatever. 1:30 pm edits today, just a bit of clearing up ambiguity and whatnot, and deleting a link or two, that was done by me. Fraggy 18:31, 26 April 2008 (UTC)

I got through prophecies game twice and ended up in Droknar's Forge outpost, not the explorable area, I talked to a friend and he said the same thing happened to him. Some kind of a bug maybe?

Explorer[edit]

So, going in there for the first time with 99.9% Tyrian Explorer, and I did not get 100%, as the notes state you should get 0.1%. Any ideas?

Go explore somewhere else then. personn5User Personn5 sig.jpg 16:00, 31 October 2009 (UTC)

Anomoly[edit]

Oddly, this is deemed a solo mission for the purposes of using Summoning Stones while in the outpost explorable... Strange I thought, should I update the article? - Jon Will 20:46, 31 March 2010 (UTC)

Knock yourself out ;) ~Celestia 00:57, 3 April 2010 (UTC)

Salma[edit]

I just did the mission again today to cap a skill, and noticed that now Salma has her new skin, with brown hair and Shining Blade attire XD 213.166.211.46 14:08, 3 June 2010 (UTC)

Access to Storage?[edit]

How do we access our Xunlai Chest to get the crafting materials required for using together with the Deldrimor Talisman? --128.199.104.229 18:56, 20 October 2015 (UTC)

1) There is no Xunlai access here.
2) You don't need any materials together w/ the Talisman.
Steve1 (talk) 19:07, 20 October 2015 (UTC)
The talisman is to trade for a unique (green) weapon. You will need materials if you want to craft a non-unique (gold) weapon. In that case you must bring the materials with you when you do the final mission Hell's Precipice. No shortcut.--93.25.120.137 21:59, 20 October 2015 (UTC)
Forgot about the crafter. Thanks for the added info, Ruine. Steve1 (talk) 06:11, 21 October 2015 (UTC)
No problem. I remembered the weapons cause I like the skin. But they sure are hard to get, allowing free access to the area from Droknar's Forge would have been nice from anet. Hell's Precipice takes almost a full hour.--193.48.141.104 07:13, 21 October 2015 (UTC)
