Ambivalent[edit]

I'm generally opposed to redirect articles for the sake of consistency, but I don't see any harm in this one.

  • Other NPCs refer to here as Princess Tahlkora within the game.
  • I agree it's unlikely that anyone will type the name this way, but it's possible that someone will type Princess and see a previously missed connection.

I'm also not opposed to deleting this article, since the overall value is very low. – Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 19:30, 16 February 2012 (UTC)

I'd prefer for it to remain, since we tend to give redirects for NPCs with alternative titles (usually unless said title is ambiguous - such as "The Betrayer" or one of Shiro's 10 other monikers which could be used by a lot of others). If it were something like "Tahlkora of Vabbi" where Tahlkora was first, then I wouldn't oppose to the deletion, but Princess Tahlkora, well, a debate for it would be more harmful than just simply keeping it. The reason for what i wanted this page deleted was because no one would ever type this in research, and, although some NPC might refer to her as "Princess Tahlkora", it's always called just "Tahlkora" (for what i remember). But, since it was reached some consensus on the actual uselfulness of this redirect, i'll be ok with its existence and i'll just withdraw my deletion proposal. There are things that are far more worse and use-less on this wiki (PS: they're all redirects, and unfortunatley, i don't know how to implement the "noredirect" parameter). *These* are the things that should be deleted with maximum speed; too bad that "consensus" has also been reached for them^^ --User Kyx signature Skull.gifKyx 00:47, 17 February 2012 (UTC)
Among them, the only one I see being kept would be Dead Spoiler Dude - and that's just to avoid direct linking to a spoiler. However, he has a better redirect. Konig/talk 01:45, 17 February 2012 (UTC)
If we include player usage as part of documenting the game (which we do), I see nothing wrong with redirects for Jesus Beam (or Bjeezus Beam, either of which are used all the time), Dead Spoiler Dude (infrequent), and Penis sword (never by some people; as often as possible by others). The only one I've never seen used in chat is Ion Cannon. By all means add delete notices for those if you think they ought to go. The worst that happens is consensus to keep is reaffirmed (and since usage evolves, I think it's fair to reevaluate terminology on occasion). – Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 04:18, 18 February 2012 (UTC)
