"New" Skills vs New Content
In Guild Wars there are 1391 skills and everyone will agree there are plenty of crap skills. By now you will have realised that these words are spelt with underpowered skills, so this can't be longer than 1391 words, right? How close do you think I'll get? Honestly? I'll explain why we don't need a Zaishen Menagerie nor a randomized questset.
When buying EotN, a strong pulling factor for a lot of people was the skills. The game can't run without skills. Which is why if you resurrect dead skills, it's effectively new content. The difference is, you're paying Izzy to get the skills back and not Linsey/Regina/Joe Kimmes. I don't know their payscales but Izzy's not worth more than those three. New skills are cheaper than new content.
This new content was needed by the community. Anyone worth their salt has a Mule character and more storage could give someone a character slot back. So that's fair enough. But pointless new content, which only benefits one profession, is a waste of resources.
I'll expand on this later if I have time, but I'm only into ranger and I'm getting tired of typing. Don't rage at me for doing nothing and not suggesting, if you've not seen a userspace with Suggestions plastered on it, there are hundreds out there. I just want to make the point that making skills usable is just as good as new content if they're done properly.
