Elas was born under the name Arthur Elarious in Tsumei Village, Cantha, as a young boy he would spend his time growing crops and herding animals with his father Ronald. He loved spending time with his father, but there was 1 thing he loved more, target practice with his fathers bow. He would spend hours of his days aiming at dead pumpkins and cabbages while his father watered and harvested crops. On his 13th birthday his father had a surprise waiting for him in his cart by the fields. His first bow, a Bramble Shortbow. He couldn't thank his father enough. The next day he spent the day hunting Mantid in Sunqua Vale where he made friends with a Tiger cub, his name was Raja. That night he was sitting by the entrance to Shing Jea Monastery when he heard a scream coming from deep within the vale. He searched far and wide, it was then he met his first nemesis, Ziinjuu Life Crawler in the heat of the battle, the young Ranger heard a man calling his name, as he finished off Ziinjuu Life Crawler he turned to see Master Togo. The wise Ritualist asked him his name. He introduced himself, as Elas. The two talked for a while, Master Togo referred to the battle he witnessed. It was then that Arthur Elarious became the times youngest student in the Shing Jea Monastery. On his 16th Birthday he witnessed the death of his father at the hand's of Tin Dao Kaineng he swore he would avenge his father. After a year of near solid training, he set out to battle Tin Dao Kaineng. When he arrived Tin Dao Kaineng was not alone. Arthur, now known by his friends and tutors as Ranger Elas, crawled slowly towards where Tin Dao Kaineng was sitting, Raja by his side. They struck, taking out his henchmen in a flash. As Tin Dao Kaineng turned to face the young ranger, a look of fright fell upon his face, he remembered. The same eyes as the farmer he had killed many moons ago. Elas gripped his flaming arrows tightly, as Raja charged towards the foe, Elas pulled back his bowstring, and let fly a burning message to his fathers killer. It was from this moment on, he decided to explore the world Beyond Shing Jea Island. Exploring the land of Cantha he stumbled across a woman who goes by the name of Elder Rhea where he became one with the Luxon alleigance. Earning his title of Ally of the Luxons He set out by order of Master Togo to secure the land of cantha from the plague which was spreading at impeccable speeds. As he rushed around,he rid the land of the infected residents, the only cure was death. He was informed that an old imperial bodyguard named Shiro Tagachi was back, and this man was the cause of the destruction in Cantha. He worked with his moral enemies, the Kurzick's to overpower the beast that was Shiro Tagachi and earning the title Protector of Cantha. 10 years later, Elas has explored the world, solving problems and helping people realise the true meaning of being a Ranger. To this day, he has kept Tin Dao's Staff and the Bramble Shortbow his father passed down to him, in memory of the beginning of his new life. After a year long break from adventuring, Elas is back in action delving into the unknown, vanquishing all that stands in his way and claiming bounties in the far shiverpeaks. |
